Nice presentation. I have this unit and it works as advertised. I've also had some issues with the height of the trailer tongue mating to the ParkIt, but there is only about a half to 3/4's of an inch difference between the two. I merely tilt the unit forward until the ball drops beneath the trailer tongue and I roll it under it. I then tilt the unit back to the level position and by so doing, it raises the ball up into the receiver on the tongue. I lock it in and away I go. One other issue I have is stability. My driveway is a 3% grade, falling away to a 7% grade. The ParkIt does fine on both grades, but on the 7% portion, any turn potentially results in the trailer rolling it over to the side as the weight of the trailer overtakes the ParkIt. It appears that ParkIt has addressed some of this in that they now offer a Hitch Adapter that provides two bogie wheels set in a bracket that widens the track of whole affair offering additional stability. However the Adapter is a little over $500 and addresses an issue that I feel should have been anticipated in the original design of the unit. In answer to a few of the other questions here, the standard tires are sufficient and the ParkIt easily pushes my 2600 lb trailer up the 7% slope with ease, all be it slowly.

What is the weight of your boat and slope percentage. Do you think this could handle a 4000 pound travel trailer with about 10 feet of driveway with a 6.7% slope before it levels out?

I have one...yes, it costs some money...but it will always sell for good money and it does a hell of a lot of work...it is worth it.

This is a great vid. Is the parkit still working good?

That is an interesting electrical panel installation (:45) :) It doesn't appear that space is an issue (NEC 240.33).

Nice video. I have a 16 foot aluminum boat and 8deg slope drive way (about 25 feet long). I'm also running into a similar problem where I can't straighten the trailer and truck without having to ask my neighbor move his car off his drive way.. This dolly will fix the problem. Do you think the standard 5K 4" tires is enough to push it or need to go with 6" tires? Thank you for the vid.

Thanks for the video first of all! My driveway leading to the garage is an uphill drive. You think the power itself is strong enough to drive up a boat that weighs 2500 or more? I really like this product but I just want to make sure that It will drive my boat with ease. Thanks again for the nice video.

It depends on the how much of an angle slope it is. This unit can handle a 6 degree slope. My driveway is between 4 and 5 degrees and I have no problem. My boat is over 3000 lbs. They do have units that will handle much more weight and slope but of course that will be even more expensive

What was that price on that

I bought the 10k model and it was $2400 total.

For the heavy price tag they have on this, how do they continue making these without improvements needed? Unless they would pay me to fix their product issue, no way in heck I would spend time trying to mitigate their bad design that limits operability. It would def be going back shipping paid by them and no restocking fee..
