I adore Celeste due to several personal reasons, and this is one of my favorite levels in parkitect

The way it pulls of the Celeste reference without throwing it in your face is really cool

Really enjoyed the subtle nods to Celeste mixed with your aesthetically pleasing theming- the coasters' interactions were really great too

Still can't believe two of my favorite games had a crossover, while still being such different genres. Recently completed Celeste chapter 9 and all c-sides :)

Celeste is such a cool game, I remember smiling way too much when I saw the scenario for the first time! I love how (just like Celeste) this scenario is pretty challenging while staying really fun. Glad you stuck to the Celeste theme and it turned out amazing! (a shame I didn't see any strawberries around though😅)
@Silvarret2 жыл бұрын
The strawberries come with the scenario, actually (you just have to look for them, they're quite hidden - just like in the game ;) )

I haven't played Celeste, but I get most of the stuff because Celeste speedruns are so fun to watch. Using Celeste's soundtrack for background music was a nice touch.

I would love to see a second Parkitect series where you only make a single, highly detailed ride like what you did with the Jagerhorn series and others from Planet Coaster. That would let you do these new design ideas without trying to shoehorn it into a scenario. More Parkitect would always be appreciated!

It's a map all about Celeste and yet I was still surprised to hear the Celeste music in the background of the video

This is one of my favourite silv parks. I love how all the different coasters interact and are crammed onto the mountainside. I'm more of a platformer than a simulation gamer so I loved all the Celeste references.

I hadn't played Celeste, but it had been on my Steam wish list for a long time. You inspired me to finally pick it up during the Spring sale. Ended up putting the 31 hours into it to 100% it (aside from the golden strawbs) over the past few weeks haha. Thanks

I missed this video as it came out and just now got to it. Celeste is honestly one of my favorite games as well so to have this parallel is kind nuts. With this parks theming and your constant references to Celeste, I was watching with a smile on my face the entire time. Edit: Just noticed the length of this video, definitely didn't feel that long. 10/10

Great video Silvartret! I love the creativity and attention to detail in your park design. The Celeste Mountain theme is so unique and really adds a sense of adventure to the park. Keep up the amazing work!

I doubt it would be as fun in practice as dueling coasters, but I imagine "chasing" coasters would fit really well here. I don't know if it has been done before. The purple would always be just behind the orange by a few seconds, following its general pattern of speed and direction. It would be a great representation of key parts of Celeste (without spoiling too much I hope) - a tweak on the dueling concept. In any case, fantastic park and video once again. I love the cobble walls you scattered around in the park! You did Celeste proud, I'd say. Thank you for putting the time and effort into this, Silvarret! In terms of Celeste itself, I love the game so much. It has great platformer gameplay, fantastic aesthetics and graphics, and (like you mentioned) a genuinely impactful story. Celeste would have been a good game with only the gameplay, but the story takes it far and beyond excellent in my opinion.

Used to live in Taiwan for a couple years, Gravity Max is a fun ride, definitely more of a gimmick than a good coaster, but fun nonetheless. I live near Cotaland now and am excited to ride their new tilt coaster when it opens!

The entire time Silv is building the Euros I just kept hearing Ryan's voice in my head saying, "On rollercoasters a block zone is a section of ride that only one train may occupy at a time. At the end of a block zone there is a method to stop the train, in case the block zone ahead is still occupied. This is the safety system that prevents rollercoaster trains from colliding with one another."

Silv, this was a fantastic interpretation of Celeste. I kept thinking "where is the monument dedicated to those who perished on the climb?" It took me a long while to realize the Tilt section on the Tilt Coaster sits atop the monument! The dust bunnies around the Wild Mouse coaster are a wonderful touch! I am really only surprised that Seekers / eyes didn't make an appearance. - a fellow Booby Champ
