He should have received the DP. I still remember the names of each person that was lost, and their family members. I had not cried so much over something like this since Sandy Hook. The defense team’s behavior was repulsive, and I don’t know how the judge could tolerate them, the prosecution did an amazing job, and the jury did not deliver justice for these families. I can’t think about this trial without feeling tremendous anger.

Yes but they rebuilt the library where majority of it occurred, this was throughout most of the school. That was also 25 years ago Edit: I’m not saying that because it was 25 years ago that it doesn’t matter, I’m saying that wasn’t a common occurrence back then. Did you not watch the video? The shooter wanted to be famous, like many school shooters..he was seeking notoriety. The victims family asked the media to stop naming him and showing his face. It isn’t for his privacy. America should have laws in place for media reporting of school shootings that stop them from making the shooters famous…the fame is a big motivator for some killers.

I thought the parents of the victims previously stated that they wanted the school to remain in tact for politicians. I thought they said they hoped it would have an impact on them in regard to gun laws and school safety.

This trend of tearing down buildings just because a crime was committed there is disturbing......taxpayer money built the school. Now MORE taxpayer money will be spent to tear it down. What's next? EVEN MORE taxpayer money to build a new building? Wasteful.

@innocentnemesis3519 Taxpayer money is NOT all I care about. But, it's not irrelevant. The current level of "trauma" being experienced from inanimate objects is currently beyond the ridiculous....
