@Tiny Princess Definitely not impossible, and given the circumstances wouldn't be the strange if he was in prison pre trial (trial is over now and hes convicted btw) People go to prison immediately upon arrest all the time. Happens mostly in counties that don't have many, or very large city/town jails. No room at the town jail so they have to take you all the way down to the state penn. But again, given that he is a particularly violent offender they most likely had him held at an actual prison, most likely in some sort of solitary or something. They don't put people like him into little jails. They get transferred immediately.

That’s what happened here and the dispute is that he told his lawyer this and the police, who so far had lied and hunted him at every corner, just denied it.
