There's actually a cool detail back in Origins where if you slid down a slightly long rope, Bayek would rub and shake his hands from the pain when he lands. Don't know if it's in Mirage

The Parkour is amazing but the combat doesnot live upto the expectations, i wished they made Basims body more fluid like unity, ac3 instead of making him move like a crab side-to-side and also an extensive range of executions.

The parkour is awful and annoying after AC unity and other chapters of series! Just look of these broke animations from valhalla, odyssey and origins. It sucks

but that will make no sense !!!!! everyone has a great points and weak points basim is fast but fragile arno fast and fragile eivor is a wariour but slow kassandra is fast but fragile connor is balanced ezio is balanced altair is balanced edward is balanced litterly every AC character before arno is balanced then in arno and after arno the character no more balanced they have GREAT features and weak features according to their playstyle and in a sense their time periode but prior to AC unity they just throw the same combat system with no depth hence BALANCED and please gameplays are not CANON don't take AC lore from gameplays because gameplays are subjective 2007 gameplay is not like 2024 gameplay hence don't judge gameplay as canon instead look at the lore in the lore they said BASIM is the fastest Assassin until now but fragile

You got some very smooth lines there, very nice video, however i still hope someone creates a mod to make the jumps less "magnetic" if you know what i mean. I don't even know if this is possible, might actually be a hard coded thing, but if there's a possibility i hope to see it some day.

Yea bro I totally get what you’re saying, I think a mod like that would be hard to make but i hope someone gives it a shot. I hope the next AC game will be a little less clunky and “magnetic” like you said, like revelations was.

Can't really blame the KZbinr though. The world design is amazing for parkour but there's so little that you could do in Mirage's parkour system. I still give kudos to the KZbinr for making the parkour look smooth with so much handholding by the game

I liked ac unity parkour, it was very smooth, i didn't like ac mirage parkour, it felt like ubisoft downgraded itself 😢😢

Yea it certainly is a downgrade from Unity, but it’s a lot better than Valhalla and the other rpg games.

Is this worth buying? I've been very hesitant because of how much it's supposed to be scaled down etc... I personally really enjoyed Origins and Odyssey. Not Valhalla as much but I definitely didn't hate it like the masses...

Well, I would argue that Mirage is different from the rpg games but it also has a lot of similarities. Mirage is a lot shorter (about 20 hours) but it still has that beautiful rpg world/setting. Mirage is also a lot more stealth focused and shorter, like the older AC games. Hope this answers your questions:)

I really don't understand how a game from over 10 years ago was able to make the parkour better than a game from 2023 from the same series made by the same company. Did they fire everyone who was part of AC2? And along with them did they delete everything they contributed to the games? I mean all you had to do was copy and paste and try to improve it. Instead it feels like they re-did every aspect of the game with each new game but completely forgot how they did it in the last game. I'm so glad I stopped buying AC games after 2. I liked Rogue but even Rogue feels so clunky compared to a game that came out 5 fucking years before it.

Still dont like it that much. This does look smooth dont get me wrong, but not nearly as much as what weve seen in previous games. Dont like how "hoppy" he is and definitely dont like the random rolling on the floor, very video gamey and looks kinda ridiculous.

That's absurd, they are obviously going for realism for the most part. Even with all the fantastical shit, they clearly want to be taken seriously.

@@massivetism they aren't going for realism for the most part. the games core story is literally about recovering ancient artifacts made by an advanced civilization in the past. sure the historical accuracy is really good but that's about it for the realism part. and also these games are essentially just you playing a video game inside a video game, it isn't surprising to see these kinds of shit in the game.

Yeah it looks smooth but it's really safe and static... Not like back in the golden era where you actually had to watch out where you jump... This just does it by itself
