Gas bottle up torch points down, liquid butane goes in gas butane is inside bottle and pushes liquid under it into the torch...

The soldering tip didn't last long and i've been unable to find a replacement as it seems to be a bespoke size. (4mm). Also agree gets through gas very quickly, all in all it's rather dissapoining.

Can i use it for silversmithing?

It would be perfect for silversmithing really small things like jump rings. Anything bigger it doesn't have the capacity to heat it up enough. I bought one for soldering jump ring, but it's a git trying to refill it. I wouldn't recommend it because of that.

Bougt it and I am testing it. Waste od money. Dont buy this crap. It has so small tank that it works for minute than you have to reload it. Practicaly just as it heats up, so you can work with it, it shuts down so you have to take bottle and refill it. And for just one second. Or else reservoair goes overfilled and it wont ignite at all. I am returning it...

"Parkside" make very poor quality items I've had a portable soldering iron and Dremel pack up on me with in 5-10 times of use what a waste of money.

I use some parkside tools daily along with snap on tools. Generally found parkside to be reliable when looked after properly. Snap on quality doesnt come at lidl prices
