Finally I decent review on the parkside impact. Had one for a while now and while it ain't milwaukee or dewalt it certainly isn't bad for the money

It's a great tool for the money. I use mine at home and also have battery operated drill which takes the same battery. I wish they would come out with the battery operated ratchets.

got mine 2020/21, had a lot of use over 3yrs, just went to use it and dead. was ok 2 days ago, no warning or reason.

I see that you are working on brand new, non-rusted vehicles. I spent a little more on a dewalt dcf899 for 140 quid charger for 15 and aftermarket battery for 20 175 total so you don't fall on some nut

I looked up this video because I'm not impressed with mine it cuts out taking stuff off at I'd say 100 nm even when on 400 setting so if this happens to u take it back as it doesn't perform the same as the one on this video!

I bought same today try on my seat altea xl wheel bolt with 400nm power but sadly failed. I think first lose bolt with breaker bar then easily work.

I have one of these and had it for a few years, it's great for the money. It will take off most wheel nuts but wont do axle nuts, lorry bolts or anything big like that. I used mine on a farm until I bought a Milwaukee 1/2, which will take off pretty anything if it hasn't been gunned up stupid with a 1inch or 3/4 impact most of the time.

How do you get the socket to stay on all it seems to do is slip around on the anvil.ball bearing type would be better

Hi Chris....thank you for the excellent review and posting, as normal it was very interesting and love the humour.....the new impact gun will be helpful when your at home maintaining the new Vauxhall. I have a Lidl purchased Parkside socket set, the sockets are all chrome vanadium, the 1/2" and 1/4" ratchets are very good with comfort grip handles so good when working outside in the colder weather, and quite smooth in operation, its my main socket set so gets a fair amount of use, and nothing has broken or worn out yet, and i paid only 45 Euros for it which for a large socket set is excellent value for money.....best regards to you, Stefano.....

I generally hate Parkside but for these truck wheel bolts you need a 3/4 air impact tool, that poor thing cant do it.

For some nuts we need a torque converter to move the wheel nuts.
