My hands cramp on a thin neck. can you, or anyone reading this, tell me what kind of neck profile it has, thick, chunky, slim, thin?

Just bought one of these today. Got it dirt cheap and brand new. I get the feeling that mine is the last of it's breed. There's a few dozen here in this city and surrounding burbs. Parkwood is likely closing down this line. Maybe they are shutting down altogether. I honestly had never heard of them until a few days ago. I'm hoping that I will look back in ten years to discover that this really is a rare bird. At any rate, I'm happy with mine. The acoustic sounds need some help but they sound alright. I bought it as an electric.

@busker666 That's true but it never hurts to hear someone else play it too. This guitar is actually discontinued but I have a couple of songs that I wrote on it and posted on my profile. It's a hell of a guitar

I love your reviews! You do a great job and I'm subscribing! This time though the recording sounded a bit muffled, maybe it was the guitar amp or the room sound.

I've owned this guitar for 5-6 years and this video does NOT even come close to doing the guitar's acoustic-ish tone justice. I get so many compliments on the acoustic tones with mine.

@@roamlikekane Agreed - this video doesn't sound like an acoustic at all. It sounds like an all maple Tele on the bridge.

Agree, and a vid already exists, Greg Howe has done it right:)

How does that sound like an acoustic?

If you can find one of these, get it. I traded in a Gretsch on this, and haven't regretted it for a second.

@wimpelkurzer5613 they don't make it anymore. The parkwood pwh4 is about 1000 dollars but used shouldn't cost more 800 dollars unless someone wants to be stingy

I love how Greg Howe makes this guitar sound amazing and this guy (no offense) just doesn't sell it for me.
@MattMarriott15 жыл бұрын
It has to be said that in the flesh this guitar sounds much more acoustic than this vid suggests. Plus add in to the mix the the demonstrator here played totally inappropriately with the acoustic pickup engaged, at least in my opinion. Check Greg Howe's Demo for a better example!

if you have the money don't bother with the parkwood they dwarf in comparison to Taylor's T5 in every category including price for what you get p.s. T5's are amazing !!!

sounds like he is playing the acoustic output thru an electric guitar amp.
