I was born in 82 and I got this on vinyl. Ooooh good album. I sampled this joint for a jam. I ain't posting it, just commenting that I got mad respect that someone put a random old school joint like this up for y'all older folks who were able to be around when this music was fresh and to see it live?? I'm jealous. I'm out peace fellow p-funk fans

Have not heard this in years, but it still sounds good to me. It's funny. I have not heard this song in years, yet I am able to sing along like I heard it yesterday, but I can't remember what I ate for dinner on Friday off the top of my head. Music really takes up residence in the brain.
