I've never seen a group have so much consistent mic feedback issues in my life, it was the same way in the 70's performances. I guess it makes sense since there's like 30 people on stage and some with multiple mics. Don't get me wrong though, they were (and still are, just more low-key) the greatest live band I've ever heard. They knew how to put on one hell of a concert!

It's so exciting to see the classic line-up reunited. Sadly, I never had the chance to see them all together at once. Rest in peace, Garry Shider, Boogie Mosson, Ray Davis, and Belita Woods of course too. Would've been incredible if Eddie Hazel, Tiki Fulwood, and Glenn Goins could've been there too! Rightly deserved!

This is so awesome. It’s a shame that more of the old members weren’t here, for one reason or another, but I’m so glad we got to at least have this reunion. Several of these band members have since passed on, so recordings like this are priceless.

Out of the 16 inductees, only Tiki, Glenn & Eddie were deceased at this point. That's pretty good! And of the living inductees, only Bigfoot was not on this stage (despite being there for the speech), so that's 12/16. In addition to the inductees, they were joined by three of the more prominent 2nd generation p-funk all-stars P-Nut Johnson, Clip Payne & Blackbird McKnight, while Frankie Kash Waddy joined on drums. And the three p-funk ladies, though I don't know which they are. All they're missing are the horny horns (who really should have been inducted with them).

James Brown made it in, Parliament Funkadelic made it in, Bootsy should make it in on his own accord as Bootsy's Rubber Band of course. As the original JB's their fresh insight in what the young people wanted kept James Brown at the top of the black charts. After joining forces with George and teaching Funkadelic the James Brown sound that's when George started Parliament and went for the black dollars in full effect. So what James Brown did before Bootsy is still enough to get him in the R&R HOF, if George/Funkadelic had not meet the Houseguests they'd be a struggling black rock act on the periphery and nowhere in consideration of the R&R HOF. Bootsy with no JB contact my guess is the Ohio Players would be their idols which puts him in the same funk direction. Bootsy would still evolve close to the Bootsy we know and love just minus the JB pedigree.

George is doing what he did to get to the Hall of fame, funkin it up.The groove is so funky that the vocals are unimportant, that's why rapprer's love it their imagination is the only limitation, the groove is secure. Pfunk never faked the funk so why start now.

Any negative comments should come with a reply video from their own sorry asses. If you don't like this.. you need new ears. If you don't feel this.. you have no soul. I can hear great separation in all the vocals and instruments. Pretty great for a group that spans 50 plus years and some of these people have had little or no involvement with the group. in decades.
