Hi Johnny! Thank you for the shout out of our booth at 16:14 in the video! We love your videos! It's a great way to see and learn about different parts of the city (and other cities/countries). We always enjoy your insightful commentaries! 🥰

Nice video. Another great festival walk through. I agree with you. I think no other city has this many festivals.

How many cities have so many named neighborhoods and ethnic segments? I've never lived in that kind of city.

The Cabbagetown Festival is actually a pretty good size. I've also never been there. Maybe I should check it out sometime. It's less crowded too compared to the one on the Danforth.

Oddly enough I've just been eating a few cabbage leaves, chopped-up with other veg, crushed roast potato, butter etc.. Delicious.

Hi Johnny, great video, but you missed the not-for-profit Art and Craft Show showcasing one of a kind local artisans who opened on Friday at 1 p.m. til Sunday at 5:30 p.m. at Riverdale Park West next to the farm at the end of Carlton, Winchester, and Sumach Street. Everyone along those sides of the streets also has lawn sales. Maybe next year, perhaps.

Hopefully next year! I just go and see what I see when I arrive. I didn't see that advertised anywhere unfortunately, perhaps I missed it.

Very many thoughts, but just a couple comments. First, I come to realize I've never seen the Canadian equivalent of what we call the "state" fair in your southern neighbor. Second, if it is true that "cabbagetown" got the nickname from Irish immigrants planting cabbages in their front yards(I totally approve, my front yard is mostly useless), then Cabbagetown is about the extent of "Little Ireland" in the great city of Toronto. Last thought: When I go to something like that, I either get a wad of currency in my pocket and quit when it runs out, or I hope for someone to set up a portable ATM (they do exist) to get more. At one farmers' market there is a place to use a card or check to get market money, but I can't remember that as a predictable thing. All these businesses MIGHT have Square devices on smart phones. Helpful for paying by charge card. But generally it is pay by cash.

lol it's any more the "real Toronto" than anywhere else and I have plenty of videos west of downtown on the channel... I do avoid the suburban areas like the plague though... because yuck
