As surprising as it may sound, I was actually excited when I first heard about Dusk's Dawn. At the time, brony fan animations were quite rare and a full-length fan episode was unheard of. When it first premiered, I actually liked it and in many ways still do to this day. It's rough, but you have to keep in mind that this animation never promised to be a perfect episode, and even with it's obvious faults it was quite an achievement for its time. In other words, please don't spam the original video with more hate. I think the creators have received more than enough harsh criticism. In case you haven't figured it out by now, my sins videos are parodies and aren't intended to be taken seriously.

Minty Root Well i doubt that have you ever seen drunk people or people after a surgery, they say tons of stuff you'd never think of. Also I don't assume it was made to be a comedy unless they wanted it so bad it'd be laughable also it shows they had 2 lead check teams which maybe one of them was saying the pacing was to fast unless they wanted it to be explained in part 2 but that would involve not having so many holes and people would need to follow the story.

I'm still questioning how it got to be that bad. I mean, I get that it's fanmade and obviously would be of less quality, but how did nobody on that "quality check team" look at the end product and say "Ok, this is wrong. And so is this. And so is that. Christ, this is awful." Fanmade or not, most of the mistakes here were things that SHOULD have been corrected. Like how about giving the foreign guy a little direction so he doesn't mispronounce everything? Or how about fixing the billions of animation errors? I'm just baffled how half of this stuff got in. Also, were we supposed to be completely in the dark about what was happening? Was there a part of the story we missed? Or were they actually just that bad at explaining things?

Yeah, truthfully the animation is the most understandable. Bad animation is usually the result of not enough effort, rather than actual bad effort. The voice acting and writing isn't as excusable. I mean I get it, English probably isn't the native language for a lot of the cast. That's fine. But that should be a *huge* red light in terms of acting, because you know the clarity and inflection is going to be shot. Same with the script, it probably wasn't revised at all. Aka it's bad. Moral of the story: It's a good idea to get feedback before publishing, because after you publish it (no matter what mindless fans say), your audience is *entitled* to have opinion no matter how harsh. Your audience owes you nothing, except respect as a person. Relentlessly tearing apart your work on the other hand is fair game.

I actually quite enjoyed this movie. Yes, it had it's faults but the people involved tried their best and produced a result. Something that some groups can't do, It's a learning experience. The people that are involved within the Brony creative fandom are not all professionals that have studied animation or music etc, and earn a living from these talents. These are people that create stuff for fun and they enjoy sharing their work to the Bronies on the internet. Think twice before commenting negatively on someone's and/or group of peoples work.

"Borny" isn't the only spelling error on that eyechart. It also says "awseom", "cucpakes" and "evrypony".
