Christians have an expanded thought on the offering of Isaac, that God was able to raise him even from the dead. Abraham believed God and figuratively received his son back from the dead, the child of promise.

Shalom I don’t understand why it is believed that the story’s such of Abraham and Lot are not recorded but instead are ‘stories’ told.... why follow these Midrashes of man instead of actual Scripture? Jubilees was written by Mosheh during the 40 days on the Mount, it is recorded in scripture but many ignore, doing away with what they do not deem as scripture yet will hold to stories of the Rambam and such? If we are going to rightly divide the Truth, then we need to do so,.... not counting stories of idolized rabbis and rambams above the Scriptures themselves. It makes one to look as if they only appear to hold knowledge and wisdom but in truth only hold mans indoctrinational teachings instead of wisdom by YHWH Himself. Do we seek to follow man or Elohim? Abraham was called to be a father of many nations - the promise. Israel served as a Kingdom of Priests and a Holy Nation unto God. The Covenant of Abraham has two parts - Genesis 15 & Genesis 17. Land and Circumcision. At Mt Sinai with Moses generation of Israel and onwards, this Abrahamic Covenant is built upon with a covenant of law and rule for the people of Israel. But the notion that Abraham was the first of monotheists is not biblical. Adam was monotheistic. Enoch was monotheistic. Noah was monotheistic. The Universal Covenant of Mankind is the Noahide Covenant. This is the inspiration of Faith for myself as a 'Daly', a child of Ireland. I identify with the Celtic Culture, which roots its way back ultimately to my ancestral father Noah. Our culture is not the same as Jewish culture. It is not the same as Abrahamic culture. I do understand that Abraham is a motivating figure for Jewish people, but there is life in Monotheism outside of Israel, and I personally take my faith in Genesis 1:1 - 11:9 and the witness of my family's monotheistic ancestry. Noahide Videos Bible The Bible text itself suggests that Abraham struck a deal with two different deities: El Elyon ("God Most High") and El Shaddai (sometimes translated as "God Almighty", but is more like "God of Destruction").

OK. So Abraham knows two names. Abraham learns about El Elyon (God Most High) in Gen 14:11, via Melchizedek. He also knows El Shaddai, whom he meets in Gen 17:1. It is El Shaddai that says, "Walk before me and you will be perfect/blameless". It is also El Shaddai that demands a covenant of circumcision. He never refers to these as Yahweh, but Adonai. But here's the problem. When Moses encounters the burning bush in Ex 3:14, It identifies Itself as "Ehyeh Ašer Ehyeh" (I am…*). And It claims to be the god of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. It goes on to assert that, while Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob only knew him as El Shaddai, It is actually as Yahweh. [* ”I am…” could be translated ”I am that I am”, ”I am as I was”, ”I am as I will be” etc.] As we've seen, Abraham knew two names: El Elyon and El Shaddai. So that's fine. More interestingly, though, Isaac never spoke of El Shaddai. As far as we know, he never met Him. It was Yahweh that Isaac prayed to. And, whereas Jacob met and was blessed by El Shaddai in Gen 35:11, whenever "Elohim" appeared to speak to him, Jacob always took this to be Yahweh whom Jacob then pay reverense to by building bulding altars and performing rites. So, we are faced with a problem. Based on the bible text, either "I am…" is lying or there are more than one god around. After-all, both Isaac and Jacob knew about Yahweh. Also, as far as we know, Isaac did not know about El Shaddai. Unfortunately, even though Jacob had met El Shaddai and at least believed to have met Yahweh, we have no idea if he took those to be to different deities or the same one. __________ Personally-and I should perhaps warn you that I'm not a religious person-I think there's a high probability that at least one or two of these deities are supposed to represent Samael, or some other agents of chaos. (And there are apocrypha texts and Jewish commentaries of Moses entering heaven only to find out that it was Samael who had the rightful claim to his soul.) For example… Re El Elyon: We know that Samael is sometimes also referred to as the one "Most High". This is because, although he belongs to the fifth heavely realm, as the chief angel among the destructive angels, he is actually said to resite in the seventh heaven, where he sits on the throne of divine glory. And it makes good sense. After-all, what is he pushing if not the principle of might is right and self-righteousness. This is also how the concepts "peace" and "grace" are understood in Judaism and Islam, i.e. the total conviction, that can only come with absolute blind faith, that you are righteous person, as long as you do it in God's name (cf. Shekhinah/Sakinah). And Melchizedek, with a name that could just as well be translated as ”the righteous Moloch”. He’s nothing but a pun; a gimmick to keep the readers on his feet to prevent him from just accepting a value judgment about some character's character, based on the name or what is asserted, without really thinking about it. Re El Shaddai: Besides the name can be translated as ”God of Destruction”, ”God of Desolation”, ”God of the Desert”, he is also supposedly the one who "said enough” and wished to halt and terminate creation. The name is also closely linked to the letter Shin, which in turn is closely linked to the Serpent. Also, this is the god who demand a covenant of circumcision, and chthonic basis for the ”Brit milah” has to do with ancient Egyptian mythology about the afterlife and escaping the final judgment: By sucking the blood as the soul stored somewhere else-to prevent it from being stained by your evil deeds-to maximize your chances of escaping the fire of judgment. It’s a kind of Faustian bargain really; because, supposedly, you allow the your ”Lord”/”Owner” to imbue you with some of his spirit while also receiving his mark.

Avraham is a Hebrew, not a Jew. Yudah is only one of twelve tribes. Your videos often keep saying "Jew" when it should be either Hebrew (Ibrim) or Yisrael. This is the Problem with Judaism. For it is the Faith of the only Tribe allowed to be the Role Model Nation of Avraham, Ibrim, Yisrael to the Nations, but focus on the Oral Law. Your videos have great points, I do learn a Lot, I believe if you understand one should be focused on Hebrew/Yisrael faith where one Focuses on Elohim our Abba instead of "Jew" / Judaism it would be amazing what else you would cover.

Judah, his tribe, and later during the separating of Israel into the 2 nations, the northern Israel and southern Judah, that is where the people group called Jews came from. You might already know this truth...Abram was a pagan, a Chaldean. Then he crossed over to the ways of the Living Elohim, his name became Abraham because of the Father’s promise of many children like the stars and the sand, I am paraphrasing. But you get the idea.
