The animators are doing a brilliant job. Love the videos. So much to learn from them, and put in a very simple way while explaining the deeper meaning!

Shabbath Shalom from Manila, PHilippines. Great video for a gentile who observes the shabbath and who accepted Yeshua ha mashiach as HIs God and Saviour and can easily understand this presentation. Toda raba.

Toda for expanding on this simple yet profound theme...intercession, that is. Ha Shem in His omnipotence always gives humans an opportunity to advocate for mercy. It doesn't make sense, but G-d's mercy extends well beyond the limits of what His justice should require.

I don't 'love' something that can't "love" me back. I did enjoy this though.
@natwil735
@natwil735 9 ай бұрын
@nomorecensoringme, you are correct that the "something" can't love you back because all that something is filled with is WRATH and HATE. That something is also jealous, vain, envious, a liar, a thief, and a mass murderer/destroyer. You would do well to know this about that "something" and get TRUE KNOWLEDGE on the opposite of that "something" that has got the majority of the inhabitants of the earth *tricked* into believing "something" is "good" and want to help us. What a laugh!

The reason why Hashem told Avraham about his intention to destroy Sodom is because he wanted him to persuade him to do otherwise ,to persuade him to change his mind. Which demonstrates that Hashem trusted Avraham fully.

It's funny how almost everyone is accepting homosexuality with open arms right now, despite what the Torah and Christian old testament says about it and what happened in the past. Even the most religious people are afraid to say it's wrong. We're living in truly sad and wicked times but we don't realize it.. accepting evil sins and wrongdoings doesn't make you loving, kind or open-minded, it makes you no different than them. I'm not saying we should attack them in any way but surely not support it or pretend that it's okay.

So WHY did Lot fail to influence those around him? Lot was not originally in a city. Why did he choose to dwell in a city?
@shaniallweiss

He saw the green and well[-watered land, which is compared in the text to the "garden of God." He was looking at the pasture for his animals, not the people. This was following a fight between his shepherds and Abrahams over where the animals were allowed to eat. So, Abraham, who loved peace, said they should separate. He offered him dibs.

Great video but something... well just struck me wrong. Did Lot fail or did the people around him not follow G-d? We can spread righteousness, but we cannot change someone's mind.

The only thing I didn't like was at the beginning you said 'just bargaining'. Really? With Hashem? Nothing 'just' with the chutzpah of Abraham doing that.

Was Abraham more successful than loth in influencing other people? After the destruction of soddom, he leaves because there is noone to influence anymore. Doesnt it mean that he could not make anyome good? Also was loth household really right people? Then why was his wife firbidden to watch soddoms punishment?

Nice Commentary - But I wonder if his "Sons-In-Law" were converts & If HaShem + Abraham were speaking about a Minyan (i.e. - 10 men *** Even 10 Followers of G^d = Jews)
