The all-knowing God as the Author and Creator of the flawless physical and spiritual universe in front of the foolish eternal and spiritual imperfections of Satan, the worthless devil is the final word in front of all what you are thinking and saying. The main conflict and problem of both system of Capitalism in the Western world and the Communist Marxist Socialism form of government is that both these two system of governance are denying, defying and trampling underfoot the fallen and sinful nature of humanity in which the wisdom of justice and the rule of law are surely denied and discarded as non-existence on this fallen and sinful world of the living in the past up to the present. The problem of climate change is so simple in which all what we humans have to do is plant all kinds of trees and fruit trees on the hills and mountains of the earth so thay as time comes the cycle of the wisdom of life and death on this earth as indeed also powered by the irreconcilable tree of the knowledge of good and evil will just take its course naturally. I knew this for the fact that I had been a servant, prophet of the omnipotent God on this fallen world for more than 3 decades now of my life. In fact, I had also already measured the foolishness and nothingness of Satan, the worthless devil by even betting to him my body and soul and that through the guidance, blessing, nurturing and inspiration of the Holy Spirit of God who indeed also walked with me all the way through in front of all the crucible in my life and that here I am still well and alive by the grace (power) of the Holy Spirit of God upon me. Both the holiness of the Godhead and Satan, the worthless devil are not surely not jokes on this fallen world. Therefore, everything on this earth are all in the all-knowing will, wisdom, and in God's hand and surely not in the hands of any of all the fallen and sinful humans in the past up to the present from generation to generation up to the present whether any fallen humans will like these or not at all.

To all the ignorant comments made attacking George, is it really so difficult to comprehend that a system predicated on exponential growth in a finite planetary system is destined not end to well? That shouldn't be a controversial point. Leave aside temperature rises, if you like. The corollary of endless growth is necessarily the devouring of resources. Are people really so myopic as to not see that seas devoid of fish and an amazon that doesn't exist a few decades down the road might pose a problem? To identify and acknowledge this is not communism but an empathy and concern for values other than greed.

Why didn't anybody mention RBE (Resource Based Economy) in this discussion. RBE it's a process (not a sudden change of the system) with focus on education and automation of most administrative and meaningless routine jobs as fast as possible. It basically pushes towards sharing resource intelligently and fairly by using scientific methods and solutions, creating abundance and ultimately eliminating the monetary money based system and competition. It's a process, but the mechanisms integrated in capitalism don't even allow the process to start.

Kayvan Fareghi, You are literally a Communist and I respect that. You talk about abundance, getting rid of money and maximising automation. This is literally what every communist wants. Communism is an economic system that follows socialism where is no money, state and class. It is a society that has super abundance, has no police forces/military, has no monetary system (finance), and is only made up of workers (so no capitalists). By the way I am a Marxist-leninist.

@@JakubKieblesz It doesn't matter what you call it. If it works then we must use it to solve the current problems! I would very much like to see where communism say that it doesn't use money though, because I believe this is the main problem. We must move toward a moneyless society with an economy based on science and availability of resources, which is a process of course! Unfortunately I don't think it's going to happen soon, unless we reach a point, where we face a kind catastrophe or something!

@@kayvanfareghi3845 A very cool idea when it comes to planning the economy would be to use a CEP (computerised economic plan) and in this way we would be able to plan the entire economy of any country with computers, similar to how the internet coordinates national and international communication. The CEP would be the same and all of the CEP's of the world would then communicate with each other to create a stage of superabundance where all the needs of the world would be met. Higher stage Communism basically requires superabundance and when that happens then we could get rid of money as it would become useless if supply always meet demand (thanks to the CEP) and there is no scarcity. Another way of looking at this would be the consideration of the fact that money is a form of exchange between decentralised producers so if all industry and producers are centralised and coordinated together then you wouldn't need money anymore for exchange.

Australia's bushfire season this year (2019/2020) is only 1/6 the size of the largest fire season Australia has had since settlement. 1974/75 saw 117 million hectares burnt, this season saw a mere 19 million hectares burnt. The 2002 fire season saw 48 million hectares burnt and 1969/70 saw 38 million hectares burnt... The 2019/20 fires were largely caused drought (which real climate scientists say they are unsure is linked to climate change) and by poor land management due to the green movement in the 1970's. Check the facts before you start talking old timer, and don't talk about my country if you don't know anything about it (like fires being an occurrence every year and every year is generally larger than anywhere else in the world). Also - why dont you ask China and Russia how communism went for them, 60 million dead Russians, 80 million dead Chinese, both now transitioning to more capital economies because they dont work... Just disgusting and a complete disregard for human life, history and human nature that someone could even suggest to go down the road of communism once more.

the problem with capitalism is that it does not really have a clear definition. Contrary to communism which has clear core principles written down by one specific figure. although communism is still quite a leap from the writings of marx, it was more a critique of the current system. In a way marx has created the concept of capitalism, stemming from 'Das Kapital', more than that of communism. wow. but yeah my point was, communism has a clear manual. whereas capitalism is term for a system that has evolved naturally over time and has taken on many forms. This ''free'' market has been regulated en deregulated many times. It was the cold war with all its propaganda (on either side of the curtain), that has tried to give clearcut definition of capitalism. however, we should not consider capitalism as a contrast to communism. Communism was a specific system that has its place in history, but it should in no way define what our current economic system is. And whatever you want to call it the aspects he prescibes to our current economic system are very real and are with quite certainty going to lead us to destruction.

“The 98% claim (from 2009) was based on a single survey by a University of Illinois professor and a graduate student. They sent a 2-minute online survey to 10,257 earth scientists. They got 3,146 responses to only these two questions…” The first question asked, “When compared with pre-1800 levels, do you think that mean global temperatures have generally risen, fallen, or remained relatively constant?” The second asked, “Do you think that human activity is a significant contributing factor in changing mean global temperatures?” Ninety percent of the respondents said that the mean temp had risen, while 82 percent said that human activity was a significant factor. However, the term “significant” was never defined. Furthermore, according to the Heartland Institute, most skeptic scientists would agree with the statistic if the term was defined. The video explains that when formulating the 97 percent statistic, researchers used only the responses from “climate scientists.” However, only 5 percent of the respondents - 79 people - were climate scientists. So, out of 10,257 academics that the professor and graduate student identified as worthy survey participants, only 79 were in agreement with their final finding. When calculated, those 79 scientists - now accepted as 97 percent - make up a meager 0.77 percent of academics. And, since only 97 percent of the 79 answered positively (which would be 76.63 people - so we will round to 77), the percentage shrinks from 0.77 percent to 0.75 percent. www.intellectualtakeout.org/article/do-97-scientists-really-believe-global-warming

The problem with George is that despite grains of truth he launches a superficial argument against capitalism. His subjective idealisation of capitalism removes from the equation a very important aspect of why capitalism needs to be replaced and bloody quick about it. In order to be honest one has to understand Capitalism scientifically and this is something George fails to do . Instead he imposes a selective argument in order to be congruent with his reformist agenda and support for the Labour Party. Perpetual growth is only part of the story . In the period of capitalisms death agony, commodity production has become a problem to it. There is too much production there is too much civilisation. Finance capital is expanded past the point of its real value, and so what is heralded in is a period of financial armageddon setting off a race to the bottom where competing nation states seek to offset their crises at the cost of the other. Thus trade war ensues that inexorably leads to war and this time round the very likely hood of a nuclear exchange . So George is essentially playing with the truth to suit a progressive / gradualist agenda. Omitting the very real and urgent agenda which is the necessity to replace capitalism with international socialism through revolution. Something that can only be achieved by turning to the world working class, because it is 'the only' critical mass that can collapse the capitalist system by denying it it's 'labour power' , the source of all surplus value that the capitalist system demands. In objective terms, George is playing the Pied Piper. He is blending with all our concerns for the future but heading them off down a blind alley. It is not that George is some diabolical person, quite the contrary he has a lot to say that is relevant to the future. It is his subjectively idealised and class orientated world view that is in question. Capitalism indeed needs to be replaced but not as George 'thinks' it will happen . His political model has already failed. It has seen 'so called' progressive social democracy open the door for fascism . Obama for Trump , Corbynomics for Johnson ,just to mention 2. WSWS.org

@@marktanska6331 I wouldn't. That does not make capitalism great. It needs to be massively improved. Main problem with capitalism always was that benefits from technological and scientific progress were appropriated/privatized by the rich capitalists, but the cost for basic research was mostly socialized through the tax system. To the point were capitalists have just to invest the last few % of R&D and they own technology (patents) that we all paid for and hide it behind a paywall. This cannot end well for most people. Few ultra-rich techno-gods and the rest of us, their mortal powerless subjects? Capitalism needs radical reformation.

@@nicholasdemetriades9154 We currently produce enough food for 10 billion people. The serious problem in food distribution stems from lack of structural organization (the free market does not allocate efficiently) and from willingness to mantain a certain level of scarcity so that commodities would stay profitable. (because of course the point of agriculture is to be profitable, not to feed us). The entire system is rot. It's founded on exploitation of people and resources and based on the assumption that infinite growth is somehow sustainable.
