Do you have data from USGS to prove that Hood is active again? The track the gas emissions, and I haven't heard about any increasing seismic activity

If anyone plans on moving here be aware you may not be lucky to escape the next eruption like at least 100 "known" people didn't escape and just 57 were found cooked and sufficated alive trying to escape the eruption .

People are afraid when they don't truly understand the science. We track activity on the cascades volcanoes closely.. they never erupt without indicating beforehand like gas emissions or seismic activity for example. The usgs scientists who were at St. Helens knew an eruption was coming and were aware of the risks involved more than anyone
