What I have noticed today is that most companies want data and business analyst in one. Do you have tutorials on power Bi, tableau or sql, that’s what the market wants even sometimes for product owners

Hi Dame, thanks for watching. Yes there are many companies who confuse the Business Analyst role with the Data Analyst role and its ok to play dual roles if that's what is required for the job. However if you get a job with a company who does not know what a BA does, then they will take you down the career path of a Business Intelligence Analyst and that is what you will become. Is that the career you want? There are many other companies who dont require you to be a data analyst ( although knowing SQL and other BI tools is useful - but it shouldnt be your main focus as a BA). Those are the companies you should target if you want to be a Business Analyst not a Data Analyst. You can get a job with only the BA knowledge areas. You dont need to learn PowerBI or Tableau or SQL or get product owner cert to get a BA job. How about get a job with the BA knowledge you already have and then upskill if needed? I just have a quick question - since it’s a case study how do the interviewers expect you to finish building your BRD? I assume it’s not a live 40 min timed question, right? So I guess they send the this case study and expect you to have your BRD w presentation by certain date(next day)? Thank you so much again for your content of gold 😊
