So setting the white balance to K means it won't change if you're recording to the monitor alone? I usually set a custom white balance but noticed it won't kick unless I'm recording internally.

Hi there. Thanks for watching. I shoot primarily in F-Log when I pair with the Atomos Ninja V so I can color grade in post. When I do shoot film simulation going to Ninja V, I do set the custom K at 4500 to match my 2 godox studio lights output. I haven't really noticed the white balance is off in post while I edit the footage with film simulation. I do find the Ninja V doesn't display the correct color while i shoot compared to the LCD on the back of XT-3. I'm going to do a test and find out for you.

Hi, thanks for the video. I just got my Ninja V with Fuji XT3, but the Trigger Record is not working with the camera button. I have the setting ON in the menu of course. Any clue how to solve this?

I found the problem, in the Ninja V in Trigger option I set the HDMI value. :)

Hey, does your xt3 hit up as if you’re recording internally when using the atomos ninja v? Mine hits up and drains battery quickly when green light goes on which means hdmi connected

Hi there. I just had to confirm myself as I've never paid much too much attention when i'm recording externally. I just finished recording a 30 minute video straight. The XT3 does heat up even when plugged into the HDMI. The heat is from the battery and it does drain quickly, even when connected to the Atomos. This is normal. Let me know if you have any other questions.
