Did a recent trip with my XUV700 AX5 manual from Prayagraj to Delhi and back with my wife, brother in law and 2 kids, almost 1900kms in 4 days, it was so comfortable that we didn't feel exhausted at the end, no power lag, headlight boost is a big plus which is very helpful at night driving on highways.Got an average of 17.8 on our trip. The only negative point is the reverse parking camera.

XUV 700 is a better performer any day, simply by means of bigger engine, bigger bhp and bigger torque. But I chose Tata Harrier BECAUSE of that "Truck wali feeling", BECAUSE of that protected feeling, BECAUSE of the suspension. However I must also add, in terms of power figures AND performance, Tata Harrier may be behind XUV 700 but it is MOST DEFINITELY ADEQUATE.

I drove both the cars for more than 3,000 km. The Xuv700 is even more powerful than fortuner and endaver and innova. If you don't want to take xuv700, then safari is excellent .

Safari is class apart for any terrain. Amazing suspension, seating comfort, style, and fuel efficiency. With 6 people onboard 23 km/l on highway - diesel automatic. And 13-14 in city. If anyone is looking for a stable and a junior version of Range Rover then dikhayo pe May jayo aapni aakal lagayo. Giving this feedback having driven 23000 kms in 8 months. Leh & Ladakh, Kashmir, Konkan belt, Jungles- all with senior citizen on board and a kid. Yes you read it right! So Safari automatic is a car that I can compare with even Fortuner. In fact except 4x4, Safari has it all.

Road presence is excellent in Safari but it needs to come with Rear Wheel Drive & 4×4. A big car with front wheel drive doesn't match the SUV tag.

Bought Safari Adv persona in Jan 2022…xuv 700 had also just been launched. My decision to buy safari was taken when I saw the one my friend had bought and immediately liked it too much…after that I checked XUV700 with the pure intention to see if I should change to XUV … but I saw no reason.. Safari has the Fiat-Chrysler Engine that among the best in class. The 2nd reason is the seats which are definitely very good ..much better … and that sealed the deal for me. (Infact my other friend had test driven both and said XUV drives and feels like a car, and if I want feeling of a car, then I will buy a sedan and not XUV). Looks wise XUV is not bad but just doesn’t come close to Safari. But XUV has lots of bells and whistles and features(I can’t even use cruise control in India…so ADAS is just pointless ). The only feature of XUV that I miss in safari is the seat memory function (which new safari now has it).

XUV 700 is 5 star ncap rated, how's these guys not feeling safe. Also XUV is wider and shorter than safari so body roll is Automatically less in xuv compared to safari. There are many videos of this idk what they've taken before this review

I think that XUV 7OO is better choice because of best in segment performance, best in segment power, best in segment features, best in segment luxury, comfort, matrix indicator, best in segment headlamp, 360 degree camera & safety of XUV7OO on the other hand Safari provide only bulky look , ventilated sheet but No 360 degree camera & worst in segment infortanment.

In xuv700 360°degree camera is offered only in top model(ax7l) which costs nearly 30lacs whereas in non luxury model(which costs 27-28 lacs) 360° camera is not offered only reverse camera of worst quality is offered,which is also offered in safari top model. So comparison will be done of only non luxury and xz+....In that case safari is best
