Part 2/3: 2001-2005 Chrysler PT Cruiser ignition actuator repair

1115/23 Just had on my 2002 PT Cruiser the ignition actuator and electronic switch replaced due to failure of the aluminum part failure in the plastic part, the cost with labor was $267.00 for a simple 1 hour repair. The repair parts were way overpriced and the 1hr repair time is now going for about $90 an hour.

so all the info about 2001-2007 ,mine is 2003 limited Edition anything on eletric work that why it won't start.Thank you..Help me please..

Something like that will require checking alot of items to narrow where the issue might be. Its something I would need to get my hands on and check in person. The one thing I can recommend is checking the system with a scanner that can read all the codes to see if something might be there

@@MotorCityMechanic Thank you.it's a free car to me,my guy friend said get it started and it's mine.so yes i am gonna try all avenue's.he has put a new starter,altanater,a few other part's aswell.the cable to the battery had got burned cuss it ran under the something.but i do think it is eletric.some wiren may had been rewired wrong or it is the b.cable that is not making a positive connection.i am puzzled.Thank you.
