Thanks for all you detailed videos bro. Much appreciated. I’ve done some research and found that if you car has the factory 3 color ambient kit (which mine does) you can just replace the harness to get either 12 or 64 color ambient lighting. Has DMP provided any info on that end??

The amg interior lighting looks good! even though I’m against standard cars with amg (exteriorly) i genuinely would leave it and wouldn’t cover it up with the carbon fibre piece!

You can buy any piece by itself. It will come with its own connection to power up and you’ll be able to change the colors. You just need to let DMP car design know you just want only that part and want to be able to control it.

You need to get a specific kit for the 3 color kits. Contact DMP and they’ll have a kit for your car. Look in the video description.

It’s easy. You hold the entire console up and you slide these notches (at the top of the console) into slots that are right beneath the screen. Once’s that notches are in, that area acts like a giant hinge for the console and you just lower the console down into place (white keeping the notches in their slots). If it doesn’t come down easily, then something is blocking it from cleanly closing down and lining up with the screw holes.

Dmp will send you a power connection for just 1 piece of the kit. They can be bought as a kit or as individuals or as individuals with their own power connection.

It’s the same process. If you buy individual pieces of the ambient kit, they will come with their own main harness like the main harness I installed in episode 1.

As mentioned in the video, that harness is from install the main ambient kit in episode 1. If you never installed it, then you won’t have it. If you bought the product from DMP car design, then it should come with its own harness to work without the usage of the main harness from episode 1. If you bought the product somewhere else, then I can’t really help you cause it might not even be the same product as DMP car design.

Flexx Alexander it’s mounted by a Mercedes specialist after i bought the car, it’s mounted like original. I tried looking at the driver side like you showed in the video but nothing was there.

I Got this message from the specialist who mounted the ambient kit for me: There is like no mains network, Each door has its own network and its own control unit. The center console has its own network and control box which is behind the navigation

Trust me buddy you don’t want no AMG I owned a C63 I found no difference and it just eats gas and racks up the miles quick trust me the c300 has everything in one it has lots of power to smoke tons of cars and has an amazing look and it’s easy to tune and make it even faster than a real AMG.
