Thank you! They love to hang out with me in the studio. I have two miniature schnauzers Lulu and Morgan one black the other white. I love them to pieces!😍

Hi Anna. I have been enjoying watching your videos here, just discovered you this week. I can’t find the video where you showed your process of transferring a traced drawing from the coloring book to the pottery. I missed the part with the tissue paper and maybe you’ll used carbon paper also to transfer the image? Which video was that?
@anasclayhouseАй бұрын
@@CeeJayKay welcome to my channel! I think it’s this one towards end. I’m transferring the drawing to a rubber pad so I didn’t need to use a carbon paper. However to transfer to pottery you just add the carbon paper underneath the paper. kzbin.info/www/bejne/qXWvfXl-aJWSnNUsi=d6nXe34L8bD_mI33

So nice ❤ Your wax resists' color is different, right?

Thanks! It’s an oil mixture with red iron oxide so it’s a dark brown. I have e 3 part video explaining how I mix it.

Thank you so much ❤️🙏 By the way, I want to paint my biscui with colored glazes or underglazes without black or any colored line among my patterns. Do you think doest it will work if I prepare the mixtures that you gave the receipes without adding oxide and than draw my design on to the biscue? (To be used as a barrier between colored glazes). Is there such an application?
@anasclayhouse Жыл бұрын
@@gulteresen yes, it should work, the lines will be the color of the clay you use. You can also use wax resist.

Hi on cuerda seca technique do we must have to use resist that you made previous video? Can we not use glaze for lining instead of that resist
@anasclayhouse7 ай бұрын
Hi Najma Using resist will give you a crisp line work and flat on the surface, thus the name Cuerda seca or dry rope. So the glazes around the line work are in relief. I’ve never tried with glaze as I think it would mix with the other glazes and would not leave the texture behind. Some people use Mayco designer liner which is underglaze, but you don’t get the same effect. So I would suggest the resist. I would love to see your results. Let me know if you have any other questions.💞

I made my resist with frit, baby oil and red iron oxide, as in your recipe. The lines flow nicely but if I accidentally touch them the red iron oxide smears. Is there anyway to prevent this?
@anasclayhouse10 ай бұрын
Not that I know of. I’m just careful when I paint the glaze with a bottle or brush. If it’s a mug, I hold it with one hand inside. If you have watched other cuerda seca vídeos, they use something that rolls above a tile to rest your hand on without touching it.

Also if it’s a light smear, it won’t show. I’ve done it before.

Is this step done on greenware or bisque?

It’s painted on bisque!👍🏻
