Thanks, Mike. That's exactly what I was needing to know. My plan is to sand down the bottom to remove the gloss finish, then brush on a coat of Solarez Sanding Resin. I'm just trying to make sure it's watertight. Your videos have been very informative.

@ Tyler I think it's a " thalco " squeegee. I use a 6" and they seem to work easier than the cheap plastic bond o resin squeegee. use either!

Biff, Generlly those cracks are from stress, flex & or age. A coat of Solarez resin will seal the cracks but not much can be done to remove them... Thanks, Mike

I have an older board with what looks like small cracks on the bottom. Can I sand it down and then use a coat of Solarez Sanding Resin to put a new layer on? Or do I need to use another layer of fiberglass? I've used Soarez products to repair dings, and I'm hoping I can use them again for this. Thanks for the GREAT videos.

Can solarez be tinted ?I sanded too deep and removed some underneath color. Unless I can tint the solarez a translucent color I'm sunk. Oh this is on a guitar situation. You seem pretty knowledgeable about the product. Nice work by the way...

How Much Solarez do you think i need to make a 5'8 x 19 3/4 x 2 1/2. I am doing a 4oz on bottom with a 4 and 6oz on top just like you did!

if UV act as a hardener, may be thats the reason of cracks to much hardness.. ??? :D
