Dude this is so helpful I've been looking for something like this for along time. I'm about to buy a blank, probably from homeblown. I'm going to shape a 7'4 with a rounded tail and nose, 3 fin set up so I can rise it is a single some days. What dimensions did you use on this?

why not drill the hole from the bottom of the deck?

Why would you drill right through the stringer for the lease hole.? Wouldn't being ot one side be a lot stronger?
