Oh I'm so glad I procrastinated because I watched your other video and still haven't made a hoop and I think this one's much better. Thank you so much for posting this!❤

I wonder if you're still into Hulu's? If you are, can we make a color changing one?

Thanks for the awesome tutorial. This is exactly the design I want to make ^_^ with a dummy battery for counterweight. You rock!

hello, thank you for making these videos have helped me a lot! I have doubts as you did for the LEDs sting merging?

I am looking at different led's and I was wondering if using the flat top or the straw hat type would make a difference? Also, I notice you do not use a resister? I bought the battery you recommended but still learning about what resisters to use...

+Colleen Brown I get the 5mm strobing and ribbon LED's from ledfedy.com as long as the LED's are capable of handling 3.7 volts you do not need resistors.

+Colleen Brown the 7 color change leds used here operate at 3v. Since the battery delivers 3.7v it's not completely necessary to use a resistor in this case. I'm assuming that that's why he didn't use any. If you have leds operating at above 3v (some operate at 5v) I think it's common practice to use 1000 ohm resistor to bring down voltage and keep your led from frying up

Thanks a lot for your explanation. I would like to ask you something: I have just bought a new LED polypro hoop and after one hour of normal functioning, is off and not working any more. I do not know how to solve the problem, if it is possible to solve, but it is not a matter of connection for sure. What should I do, may you please give me some clue with your experience on this ? Thanks in advance.

Alicia Garcia Falgueras it could be either the battery or there is a short somewhere. Probably around the connector

And can I connect switch for it for a different positions of the lights?
@OolaHula9 жыл бұрын
Yasmine Is yes, a switch would allow you to have two different color schems. I've made one with a single common ground with different positive wires. Connect allll the led's to the common. Attach the different LED's to different Positive wires, run the switch between the two positive wires and the connector side. The common ground attaches as normal. Boom!
