the filters are often put on before the engine is painted,....so maybe that's why they seem so tight,....

Oh okay that makes sense

My manual says at 50 hours I only need to replace the two filters, not the fluid. How in the heck do I do that with it full of fluid?
@DerekSpeedExposure
@DerekSpeedExposure 3 жыл бұрын
I usually drain the fluids before filters never tried filters first

That makes sense to me too, but my manual (bought the tractor in 2019) only calls for oil change at 50 hours. Gonna call my dealer about this, thanks! And glad to know I am not the only one who thinks that oil plug is one weird thing!

@@DerekSpeedExposure I ended up stripping the oil plug, so had it hauled to the dealer for a replacement. And yes, they say the manual is correct, I did not need to replace the hydraulic oil, just the filters, and to "top up" any lost fluid. The fluid replacement is at 500 hours, so glad that is a long way off! Thanks for the videos, the fuel filter replacements went super easy!

My 2022 workmaster 25s loader bucket drops 10 inches in 15 minutes with no load. The loader arms don't just the bucket. Ever had that issue? Or any ideas? I was thinking of swaping the hoses to see if the issue follows the lines or the bucket cylinders but can't find anything that shows the separation of the arms VS the bucket hydrolic cylinders.

Wonder if it's like air in the lines or something

I can confirm that I have a similar issue with mine and its the same year. From my discussions with the dealer, this is a common problem with loaders on tractors and is due to air getting in the lines. Something with the large range they expand for fully curling and dumping... The procedure that helped reduce that drop was the following: * raise the loader so that top of the cylinder on the arms for the bucket was the highest point * curl your bucket fully down to dump (you can keep it this way and actually rock it back and forth with little resistance) * go to full RPM and curl the bucket back towards you, hold it for a couple seconds in that position * Release and go back to dump and check the movement. It should be reduced. Hopefully that helps for you. It did for me. If I overextend then I have to repeat the above steps, but its been a big help to stop that bucket creep or bounce when moving a full load.

Mine was still under warranty including the loader thank goodness and it ended up being seals on the right hydraulic. They rebuilt it and it’s back to normal.

Hi, I just bought a 25s with a backhoe attachment about 6 months ago. I'm due for the first maintenance of fluids. Due you think the hoe attachment needs to come off for the hydraulic fluid change? Good videos thank you

It would definitely make it way way easier to turn that filter if you did

The ebrake, pto lever on left side has to be all the way down then your good if not it'll cut it off and you'll try to figure out how to start it and that has to be done
