I know this video was posted 4 years ago. Man O man would I live to see with my own eyes what you nice done. It looks soo clean. Recently bought a 94 IDI turbo (great bones) and am in the process of restoring all the brightwork and paint. Being this is my very first diesel ( though it's a basic one they say) understanding all the differenced VS gasser is a sharp learning curve. Your coolant filtration is really impressive. So wish I could see it with my own eyes. Looks like you are meticulous. Have so much respect for that. Wish someone made the mounting hardware. Sounds like you have access to machine milling for your mount? would love to hear back from you. Now 4 years later you really should post an update on how the system has worked. That would be fantastic. Thanks for sharing this.

Where did you source your fittings? Anything to look out for in terms of quality, temperature ratings, etc? I'm assuming you wouldn't want to just run out to the home center and buy some brass fittings for this.

I don't know the accurate before temp ratings because my coolant filter was installed before my temp gauge was in. as for fittings I got them from a mixture of menards, a hydraulic store, and oreillys oh I did order the 3/8 to 3/4 barb ones from a marine supply shop (yes the lines are 5/8 but with a little grease they'll go on a 3/4 barb )

Adam Baird yeah actually, basically and metal barbed fittings the right size would work. steal would not be my first choice tho

Sounds like you have way too much restriction somewhere. No collapsed hose anywhere? Done a flush?

@@groundtogreen1140thanks for the quick reply man. And I installed the radiator today and after 20 min 215 almost 220 on gauge. Hoses are good even completely cut off the heater core till I figure it out. Honestly I think my coolant lines other than top and bottom radiator hose are going in the wrong direction can that be possible?
