This video uses the Bible, along with new evidence and discoveries, to bring this foundational biblical event to life. The miracles surrounding this story, and the new discoveries that have been found in the last 50 years, reveal that the Exodus, Red Sea Crossing and Mt. Sinai are much greater than most think. Location
1. For many years it was believed that the Israelites crossed the Suez finger of the Red Sea just southeast of what is now Cairo, Egypt. However, there are no deep bodies of water in these areas but just shallow marshes and lakes. For this reason, the biblical account of this astounding miracle has been attempted to be discredited or erased altogether by liberal scholars.
2. Many recent archeologists and scholars now believe the Israelites crossed the Red Sea at the Aqaba finger of the Red Sea and that Mount Sinai is in Midian, which is part of modern-day Saudi Arabia.
Historical Background
1. God called Abraham and promised him He would make a great nation out of his offspring. Abraham obeyed and left everything to follow God.
2. Abraham birthed Isaac, who birthed Jacob, who birthed 12 sons. God changed Jacob’s name to Israel.
3. Jacob and his 12 sons moved to Egypt according to God’s sovereign plan (about 70-75 total people).
4. The Israelites spent 430 years in Egypt (30 years as free people under Joseph, and 400 years as slaves). During this time, they grew into a nation of around 2.5 to 3 million people.
5. God performed a miraculous deliverance of the Israelites from Egypt by performing 10 amazing miracles.
6. The last miracle, known as the Passover, happened when God killed the firstborn of all the Egyptians who did not put the blood of a lamb over the doorposts of their homes.

Faith Lesson from the Exodus, Red Sea Crossing, and Mount Sinai
1. The deliverance of the Israelites from Egypt was done to show several deep theological truths.
To show God’s power and glory (He is above all gods and is the only true God).
To be a foreshadow of salvation and deliverance (God can save and deliver us as He did the Israelites).
To teach His chosen people how to follow and obey Him.
To show his power and glory to the other nations.
2. The important thing to realize is that the location of the events of the Exodus, Red Sea crossing, and Mount Sinai are not the determining factor for whether the Bible is true or not. However, this evidence does strengthen our faith to know the events spoken of in Scripture are true and historical.
3. The miracles surrounding the Exodus, Red Sea crossing, and Mount Sinai are some of the greatest miracles found in Scripture.
4. All of this should inspire us to trust and obey God more fully.

Wow!!! This is an amazing video. I saw the first complete video about the Red Sea Crossing about a year ago and was impressed. This one is a fantastic update with all the new evidence and amazing graphics. I have always been perplexed about the Red Sea Crossing because the accounts from modern historians didn't really conform with the Bible very well, especially their explanations about how the Israelites crossed over the shallow swampy parts of the Red Sea. Some scientists also try to explain it away as a natural event, not a supernatural miracle. Now, this video, along with Part 1, gives a much clearer picture of the route Moses used through the wilderness along with God's guidance and protection. There is no doubt this was probably one of the greatest miracles ever. After you watch both Part 1 and Part 2 of these videos, the Exodus route will come alive and your faith will be strengthened immensely. Maybe when we judge and reign with Christ (I think I understand that right). I read the Word daily, and have audio bible playing in my home 24/7, and the Lord has given me so much knowledge, but I have a long, long ways to go...lol Unfortunately, I fell into a false Charismatic WOF church right after my radical salvation, but the Lord taught me tons during that time as well, and once I finally read enough of the Bible for myself, I recognized they weren't teaching doctrinally sound, and I left. I haven't looked for another church since. I figure scripture says the Holy Ghost will guide us into all truth, and He has certainly proven that to be truth in my life. It would be nice to know more Born Again Christians, but so many churches seem to have gone astray :( I find comfort when I cross true Biblically-sound, Spirit-filled shepherds online like yourself :) I will be donating to your work on my next paycheck :) Thank you and your team again for your Kingdom work :) Your rewards in heaven are great :)

RE: the supposed altar stones the base of Mt Sinai. The Lord specificly stated that altars were to be made with UNDRESSED stones. That means round pillar stones would have NOT been from the time of MOSES, but would have likely been from a later era.

The pillar stones were not part of the altar so it would have been okay for them to have been cut by humans.

Comparing traveling men in the prime of their lives and/or on camels, to a huge mixed multitude of men, women, children and elderly with flocks and herds of livestock, doesn't seem sensible to me. Pharaoh and his chariots caught up with them at the Red Sea crossing point in LESS than one day - probably in only a few hours from when the spies reported they were entangled in the land on the wrong side of the Red Sea ! This also establishes a certain travel limit to the crossing point ! So what would take Laurence of Arabia on camels four days to the Gulf of Aqaba crossing point, only took Pharaoh and his chariots a few hours ? That is the clincher ! It could only have been the top of the Gulf of Suez ! Thinking logically: Three days travel to the Red Sea crossing 15th,16th,17th Abib. 18th Abib weekly Sabbath taken out of the Egyptian pit through the Red Sea and celebrating on the opposite shore. 19th, 20th, 21st and arriving during 22nd Abib at the bitter waters of Marah. Note the 3 day - 4th day pattern ! The three day distance they travelled before the crossing, should be three quarters of the four day distance they travelled after the crossing to get to Marah. This should help eliminate incorrect proposed Red Sea crossing points. The north end of the Gulf of Suez is still the most likely crossing point - possibly in the area that is now dried up, since the Gulf of Suez is proven to have extended much further north in antiquity. i.e. travelling 9 days distance in three days to get to the crossing, and then travelling 4 days distance in 4 days to Marah after the crossing, doesn't make sense. The same applies to other proposed crossing sites ! On the first day of the 15th they left soon after midnight and travelled to Succoth, giving a maximum of 18 hours travel. They must have rested overnight after 18 hours travel. The second afternoon they "encamped" in Etham. After turning away from leaving Egypt, the third afternoon they got to Pihahiroth where the crossing took place. The Straits of Tiran are about 500 kilometers from Rameses - it just can't be done ! It's about 400km to the top of the Gulf of Aqaba, which is just as unlikely a three day journey for a multitude of men, women and children with herds of livestock. So the whole Gulf of Aqaba is ruled out, leaving only the top of the Gulf of Suez as the likely site - probably the dry bed of the sea that is proven to have extended further north in antiquity. The Bible shows that the Israelites got to the Red Sea crossing point in three days walking, and Pharaoh and his chariots got there in less than one day. This is IMPOSSIBLE for any Gulf of Aqaba crossing, but quite plausible for a crossing at the top of the Gulf of Suez.

To explain the geographical place on earth of mount Sinai or Horeb we need to read in context. Sinai or Horeb are mentioned several times in different times and situations. 1. With Moses, Israël during the Exodus. Ex. 3:1; 17:6; 33:6 2. In Deut. several times e.g. 1:2 the traveltime is mentioned from Kades-Barnea to Horeb: 11 days. 3. In 1 King. 19:8 Eliah travelled 40 days, nights from Bersheeba to Horeb. 4. In Deut. 33:2 is the position of mount Sinai described relative to Seïr and Paran. The deserts of Sinai and Paran are connected on the peninsula of Sinai. Next to the living area of the Amalekites south from Kades-Barnea in the Negev desert.(battle at Rephidim)
