Also, if Maggie had gotten home when Alex thought she'd get home (7 pm-ish), he might have done them in before that video was taken. But she didn't get home till ~8:15. He lost that 1.25 hours of alibi time there.

Why doesn’t anyone ever bring up the fact that he told the 911 dispatcher “they were SHOT badly” The point is that if he was on scene in the near dark for only 19 seconds and there’s no firearm in sight: how does he know they were SHOT and not bludgeoned to death?!

When folks on the internet come up with a brilliant observation that somehow every law enforcement officer or member of the prosecution missed, there's usually a reason for it. All of these people -- Alex, the cops who responded, virtually every one of these prosecutors -- is a hunter. They've seen hundreds of animals shot to death. Maggie's body was riddled with bullets. Paul had the back of his head blown off. You didn't have to get close to them to know how they died. Trust me -- if they'd been poisoned and Alex immediately said "they were poisoned" the police would have picked up on it. This was not something they "failed to bring up" in court.

One of the things that I found incredible and made me question his entire story, was him saying he checked their pulses. Your son is lying face down with the back of his head gone and his brain lying at his feet. Have you seen the timeline of Paul's, Maggie's, and Alex's phone data and Alex's car data? Honestly, I live in SC, only about an hour from Hampton and I just didn't get into any of this, when it happened. It wasn't until the trial had begun and approximately into the 2nd week, my mom told me it was a "must see" - so I went back to the beginning to catch up. But it wasn't until the trial was over, that I read the timeline and when you get to the timeframe where Maggie's and Paul's phones are locked forever, to realize at about that exact time, they were blown away, is chilling. For anyone reading this and that hasn't seen it, Google Murdaugh Timeline of Evidence: This is what happened the night Paul and Maggie were murdered. It gives details about the entire day, including some calls and FaceTime that Alex deleted from his phone so extraction of info from his phone doesn't match the main data base information.

Yes, I believe you are very right on this one. Alex Murdaugh was smart, but not that smart! I mean every narcissist's Achiles heal is they believe they out smart everybody else and when time goes by they get sloppy. AM deceived people for years. Someone must have been suspicious of his methods, lies and lack of morals, but perhaps didn't have the means to go against him or thought it was a lost course as Paul's friend expressed (the one who's girlfriend got killed in the boat-accident). I do believe AM revealed his bad character to a lot of different people over the years, but I'm not sure anyone knew just how sinister he was - to this day I'm not sure he knows himself.

Teamwork makes the dreamwork. Thank you all, for bringing justice for Maggie and Paul, Alex should have been their protector, ultimately all he did was try to protect himself, you exposed the truth, he was even on the stand unable to tell the truth. I followed the whole trial from the U.K. Was great to see your legal system at work, your tight team really nailed it ! Kudos to each and everyone. Thank heavens for the testimony’s of those affected & close to Alex who over many years suddenly realised they didn’t know him at all and also had become victims of his deception, Alex harmed everyone, finally at trial, he shot him self! I send healing and love to all that have sadly been deceived and hurt by this narcissistic compulsive liar. we have yet to see more, the depth of what damage he has done knows no bounds.. he is the cruelest of cruel. He’s now in the right place, behind bars for the murder of his wife and child, I hope as judge Newman says, the final image of them looking him in the eye as he took their lives haunts him every day & night. Again, this was a huge case and extremely complex. Yet you made us all see what we needed to see to without doubt know the killer was Alex, he had used & totally abused his power and bought shame upon his family and & so much hurt to the area he served and the good innocent people of the low country. Thanks for the insight during this interview, great work all.💜

I thought the prosecuting attorney Waters was amazing!! Nailed it!! He painted the picture so clearly and pushed Alex to say things he didn’t want to say. Nothing left unanswered except for Alex’s continual lying! I think he became a pathological liar and narcissist!! He had a skill at playing people. He even convinced his brothers he wasn’t guilty of murders. They knew he’d stolen but I just think they didn’t want to believe it!! He became so callused he no longer had a conscience!! I loved the judges comments when Alex was being sentenced!! The thing is we can all do things we never thought we could do…but he gradually let it take possession of him! @@soniaf6156 I felt she walked a fine line. She knew Maggie loved Alex and was "happy", but we totally could read between the lines and knew Marion put the air quotes. Had she known more she would have said more. But she didn't KNOW anything. She was very upfront about what SHE thought about what she SAW though.

Attorney Tinsley said that during the trial Harpootlian sidled up to him and said, "We focused grouped it. The jury isn't buying the financial motive." To which he replied: "I hope you can get a refund." Zing. Though the cost will be charged to Alex Murdaugh, to pay with the money he says he doesn't have. Buster will have to take another relaxing 15 hour holiday to the Bahamas.

As a nurse I fully understand the question of “why am I doing this “! The frustration of patient noncompliance, bullying both verbal and physical, family dynamics, etc is draining. But when you are truly called to fulfill a position you get up for the next shift with fighting determination.

Newly retired from healthcare after 47yrs. I kept at it bc the rewards were always at such a deeply moving level. I knew what I did mattered. Pts who were noncompliant or bad habits got them sick.... they were job security in a way. I handled difficult pts simply by being a good listener and knowing they were mainly afraid and having to trust ppl they didn't even know. I would still be working if my own body could still do the job. Look for the silver moments...but I'm betting U already do !

Alex said on the stand exactly where Maggie was standing in the driveway looking at the pine trees behind the feeding room. I think Alex used to guns to set up the scenario of Paul shooting Maggie with the black out and then shooting himself with the shotgun, but Paul didn’t die with the first shot Alex had to shoot him twice!🤔🤔

The entire team did an amazing job, and this trial was riveting. Some of the most poignant testimony was from Maggie's sister Marion, Blanca, and Shelly. It seemed clear that they realized the man they had known for so many years was a monster. AM's attempts to manipulate them into lying (Blanca and Shelly) or denying the truth of the last conversation between two sisters (Marion & Maggie) was utterly despicable. I hope they all find peace.

Creighton, when you asked about if his family was prominent...I didn't think he knew the meaning of the word. I never heard someone TALK TALK TALK about nothing for so long...I could tell from the first night of the murders he was guilty just the way he acted...he cared more about the boat crash than the bodies of his family...this family was a screwed up mess...I blame the parents for how the kids were...obviously no discipline...glad I had my parents

I agree. Have you happened to see the timeline of Paul's, Maggie's, and Alex's phone data of that day? If not, Google Murdaugh Timeline of Evidence: This is what happened the night Paul and Maggie were murdered. He called Rogan several times and if memory serves me correctly, he tried to FaceTime him. It kind of gives me chills, beyond what I have when I read the timeline and see the moment that Paul and Maggie were blown away, when their phones lock and that's that. But I also wondered, along your same lines, IF he wasn't trying to persuade Rogan there and kill Rogan and call it self defense, blaming him for the killings and/or it had something to do with the video Paul took because apparently AM tried to get into Paul's phone and put it down. I think whatever the case, AM was up to no good.

To all of those involved in this case, you are a great bunch of people, thank you all. This was a stand up team of great professionals, what a feat. The prosecution may even say, that they practiced all their lives for justice such as this. I am, like thousands of others so proud of them. Having said that, I also believe the prosecution knew going in that they would be able to slam dunk this case, as the officers first on site did everything right, and the questioning of Alex in the car was professional all the way. The jurors were clearly stand up people with common sense, which is not always the case as we know. Congrats......Canada.
