Hello, Yellow Ladybugs. I am experiencing this and i am seeking diagnosis for this. Due to this misdiagnosis, institutionalisation since 2016, invalidation and discrimination. (bullying within there and "teasing" as they call it) Yesterday I reached burnout in the psych ward. I am currently in bed scared to leave my bed due to burnout. I am just like this woman - I am being traumatised (past to now)

If everyone spoke openly about their mental illness and reduced the social stigma, we would frequently speak and hear the phrase, "You manage it so well." Ignorance is so dangerous that people with symptoms that could be controlled by medication or counseling are hiding and suffering in silence, concerned about how it would look to others.

i got punched in the head or whipped with a leather belt if i cried as a child. damaged my ears as i was always trying to block the emotions from coming out!.
