It will sharge the main phone. Unfortunately there is no way around to charge tab :(

@@akshaypai1602 SOLVED!!! There is a way to actually charge both at the same time which is the holy grail of this setup! I used Lemorele 5 in 1 USB C Hub (TC22) and it charges both devices, it is slow charge but still. My setup is Google Pixel 3 and Samsung Tab A8. Just make sure you use good quality data cable and 18W car chargers. Enjoy.

Using same setup in my car with USB cable ....only big drawback in wired connection is my phone gets continuesly charged by tablet which heats the phone badly... So I need to disconnect the phone to get it cool .

Nice video Request to make a video for car setup. I have tata nexon 7inch harman infotaimenr . If car is having wired Android auto. But now need to use wireless with big Tablet. So, Car with wired Androd Auto, Tablet for Head unit and personl phone for calls via Headunit and sound in Car music system. If possible please create.

Glad you found it helpful. Unfortunately Android auto can run only on 1 head unit.. its either the car , or the tab.. the moment you wire it to your car , the android auto from you phone will project it to the car head unit and not the Tab.. thats because Android auto gives higher preference to wired connection than wireless.. I am sorry to say that such set up is not possible due to tech ical limitation of android auto and the limitation of number of devices on which, a phone can start android auto simultaneously... However you can do one thing... connect your audio system to phone as bluetooth and follow the wireless setup with a TAB... that way you will have wireless android auto with audo comming through car infotainment.. i have tried thisnon my I20 nline and its works flawlessly

@@SanketGala-v9w In my video I explained how you can connect a bluetooth speaker. Now replace the speaker with your car infotainment. Car infotainmenet can be connected with bluetooth to phone. It will be used for calls and music. Next connect to the TaB using the head unit method (there is a previous video explaining this process) Nonetheless il show this whole thing in a new video 😇👍

Nice video brother, i hope you saw the bluarmor c50 pro intercom , & my question is the c50 pro comes with a joy stick for wireless control , if we connect the c50 to this system does ot control the entire android auto system? Like triggering a voice assistant, switching between the apps in android auto system. If you have any chance to test it please try upload a video for it

@@mohanprasanths8516 yes it will work..😊👍 the controller is just like moving the contols to handlebar from the intercom.. it does the same actions as the button on intercom would do.. I do not have a c50 device (no budget to buy one 😅) but i use a sena 10s and 3s , and it worked fine on these.. it should work fine on c50.. the device should not make any difference. However i am trying to search a more generic solution for all...il post a video 😊👍

Unfortunately not as of now.. but wouldn't it be the simpler to plug you phone using a longer phone cable? I mean using a phone as wireless adapter will still occupy the port ..

The wired setup part is really helpful Akshay.. Only worry is in a actual bike ride the wires become messy and distracted. I was trying to research if there is a possibility of using navigation phone in hotspot (not main phone as it drains the battery). Unfortunately i didn't work and not much help available online. For example of this use case the wireless android auto in my car run's car unit in hotspot mode while my phone connects to it but uses internet network from my main phone for outreach. this way the phone battery doesn't drain (like how it drains in hotspot mode). Do you have any leads or approach to this?

I have used the hotspot on main phone for my Bangalore to mysore rides and it's drained upto 30% in total.. what you can also do is change the option in the Wifi Launcher app to "wifi client" mode and then on HUR "Create Wifi Hotspot". Close both the apps and fire again. This time connect yourain phone to HUR phone wifi hotspot.. it will work..😊👍

Akshay, the audio sync was the huge difference between me carrying on or giving up with this setup, but although my helmet mic works when i receive a call, and the double press of the helmet bluetooth launches Google Assistant on the main phone, the mic won't pick up anything I say at that moment. When i disconnect the navigation unit and stop Android Auto, the double press launches GA and the helmet mic picks up my comand. Any thoughts? Thanks.

@@lewiswollen8161 Unfortunately no my friend.. I have a full aftermarket head unit for motorcycle that comes with cameras and the situation is the same over there.. GA simple won't work on bluetooth mic and android auto..

Hi, In my case either charging or the HU app is working. If I connect the head unit phone first (and then the charging cable), the HU app works fine, but the main unit takes charge from the HU phone. Whereas, if I connect the charging cable first(and then the HU phone), the main phone charges through the charging cable, but the HU phone isnt able to detect the main phone through the USB menu. It says "No connected USB device detected. If your device is plugged in its possible that USB host Enumeration isnt supported on your device, however this soesnt mean you cant use the USB device. ..." Also in this case, both phones show as charging. Any workaround for this?

Unfortunately no.. inactually tried using a otg adapter and splicing it in different configurations but it simply allows just one way.. only work around is to use wireless charger for the phone losing the charge
