I did I was watching them in order and jumped the gun. Thank you, I can't wait to see if the coil get's it going, If you get a chance show us just a bit of the ( I'm guessing blower ) on the bottom that makes the cushion of air for it to float on, if that's what they do. I've never had the opportunity to see one on this side of the pond.

Howdy from Texas, I'm gonna show ya a terrible lawnmower that I got layin around, it's an 86 sears craftsman that was converted into a racing mower years ago, needless to say that motor was worn out before it has sat forever

Bit late to the Martin been to Dorset nans funeral . The older briggs only have the large spring but your missing the throttle cable . But fair ran ok. Cheers Pete.

weld a plate on the back, closing the discharge. Cut a hole in the side for new discharge. Also your getting lucky not checking the spark before you pull your arm off...

bulletproof indeed, all it needs is a carb clean and it fires up second pull after years of rotting in a bush, new ones with the plastic carbs are OHV but the catch is the smaller displacement, they shorten the stroke to decrease displacement and still run the mower at the same speed so the piston moves slower and has a smaller lever to make torque with and is therefor gutless compared to a good old briggs, i have to let my nowadays mower stop and catch its breath or it will stall in the grass
