Part 2: I continue on my goal to empty my basket of purge records and cds, with just a few left I wanted to ask some music experts and hear their advice. I do a short interview with Steve @STEVEHEROLD and Isacc at the @blindislind7485 . I also attempt to post and sell cds online.. and well you'll see how that goes. lol.

A lot of albums I have traded into my local record store are still there over a year ago. The owner is a good friend so he always gives me a good trade in value. Do to my eclectic taste I know some of the albums will be a tough sell. As far as boxes, I got a huge stack of them but a lot of my albums I just send to other people as VCLT instead of trading it in. Nice to hear your thoughts on this

I like that tip, to make good friends with the record store, makes trade in a little easier when it comes time. I wonder what the kids will do with our collection when were gone... what do you tell your kids? I should leave notes in them lol

lol thank you! Yes this has been a whole month project for me. It was really fun to make some extra cash for new additions to my collection by doing this. Selling is not for the faint of heart, it really is a waiting game. I think i might have been able to sell cds if I was patient enough or willing to do a yard sale.

Here’s a tip when packaging records to ship. Remove the record from the jacket. This prevents seam splitting in shipping. If it’s sealed there shouldn’t be any splitting.

Ive been reselling records for almost 12 years now..but I sell to stores and flea markets. I have no time to list take pics and package and go to post office. I find my stuff at thrift stores and yard sales.

I think your kid intruding was an attempt to give you some sales advice.😉I suppose getting rid of stuff you no longer need makes sense but having to because of lack of space is a killer.I remember getting a pittance for a pile of books off a bookseller who commented on the fact I was letting go the history of Western culture(to give you an idea of the type of books).I hope you got some decent stuff as a result of your hard work!

Are you also aware of that theres a contest going on where you can win 60.00 Paypal money showing 10 albums where the sophmore is as good or better than the debut the creator said you can show hip hop, country , newer music , rock , metal Disco any thing I would love to see a video of you showing which albums you like better the 2nd or the debut? @@MonieMuse I did sell at the flea market or in Hawaii we can swapmeets at Aloha stadium parking lot, but this was about 10 years ago when we move from one house to the other right next door but that time CD's were popular and I was getting $3 for them. Now your lucky if you get a buck.

Loving the content keep em coming! BTW I use free USPS large priority mail shipping boxes to ship vinyl records just cut them to fit and use tape.

Kristofferson I don't think will sell there are country records that will sell but you will have a tough time selling his album Now if it was Waylon Jennings that would be different. you can try have you thought about contacting Jt Record room he buys a ton of records and your both on KZbin? that John Denver will also be hard to sell ? Not a fan of Coldplay , I like the Yardsale Discogs can be problems shipping through the mail them sending you a check or you sending your music ?

@@MonieMuse Have no interest in Cold play I agree with you some people just want to move some items and there not a business so not everybody has paypal!! but have you thought about contacting Jt's Record room he's on KZbin and he buys a ton of records? That's a lot better than Discogs?
