Despite issues it looks really cool. The fact that you set up 2 (mostly) functioning lanes is amazingly impressive

It looks like the ball bounces off the homemade lane that’s connected, but it still looks cool 👍🏻♥️
@t.c.bowling19344 жыл бұрын
Yes it does! Bounces more on this on than lane 2.

I noticed on both lanes that the deck/full pinsetter height is a bit high. I know there was a way to adjust this somewhere but I can not find it right now. Notice on the 1st ball cycle the scissors are still closing fully when the deck starts to raise again(they should close fully before the deck starts to raise again), and the deck is a few inches higher than it should be when setting new pins. You can do that or raise the pin deck height a little. This would in turn also solve the detector rod issue.
@fazbearentertainmentinc65144 жыл бұрын
Now you say it definite looks like it is a little high
@t.c.bowling19344 жыл бұрын
Yes I have found there's a happy medium between the adjustments the deck is either too high or too low I need to find in between.

@@t.c.bowling1934 One last thing, on the trigger link for the rake trip latch, if you have the gap at 1/16" you can reduce it to 3/64" so the rake would trip more effectively.

so not sure if you got this problem fixed or not. But where the shot gun bolts to the rake lift shaft assembly, that bolt could be too tight. It could also be a binde in the cushion linkages. Bad rake shock, Rake shock bolt where it bolts to the rake lift shaft could be too tight. rake cam is slightly out of adjustment, The detector rod is out of adjustment.

Sorry for the late responses. I appreciate all the help I can get. I did loosen all the bolts but I will check the shot gun next. I think my shocks are bad but not sure I don't have any replacements.

You should be running a model A drive pulley. By running a model A-2 speed it can if it malfunctions destroy the gearbox. Your detector rod is out of adjustment, every time it has standing pins in the number 7 position it isn't detecting the standing pins. If there are a lot of pins still on the shaker board lift the board and add a couple of flat washers to the end closest to the lane. This will help transfer pins quicker.
@Rodj123414 жыл бұрын
It seems like it is Jetback speed or it has a 27:1 gearbox, A-2 is faster than this

Hilarious how the ball jumps up and hits the pins mid air. I hope that's an old ball you're not attached to. As for the rake dropping late that's not so unusual. I just don't get how the deck lowers but then doesn't pick up the pins between 1st and 2nd ball. I'd been to bowling allies that did that though. Wonder if whenever the ball returning but falls into the next lane is because it caught on the thumb hole. How many pins do you have in the rack?
