@@DumbArse I cry. Jk, in all honesty if you have a beast PC, Xenia Emulator is by far the best way to play RDR 1 now. Some of the indoors have flickery shadows but playing the game at 4k 60fps is a sight to behold. Baffling Rockstar don't just re-release it as is with no changes. It holds up really well in 4k, I even think it looks better than GTA 5 I'd say!

@@foodwich2132 When he started talking about Red Dead he didn't even say 2 most the time, so I was holding out for what he was going to talk about but noticing the lush greenery and checking the HUD made it clear 1 wasn't on the cards. Arthur is definitely the higher definition character now so when we move to John it's not quite the same, but going back to 1 his character is much more fully enjoyable and the world is more desert cowboy. I like both for different reasons but 1 is definitely more what I think of for a western movie.

Now people are starting to notice that it wasn't just the company that made the games, it was the people that work on them. Thanks to corporate greed, those people are gone and they will never be replaced. Soon every company just like this will go under and the people that left these companies behind them will carry on their legacy.

For me Arthur Morgan is the best protagonist in video game history because Dan Houser, the other writers and Roger Clark did a perfect job at making him someone you can sympathise with and making him feel like a real character and your there alongside him, watching his life play out. Not only that but Roger is a great guy in general. He's very patient with fans, he loves to communicates with fans, he's happy to talk to people about their problems and tries to make it clear that theres more than just voice acting when it comes to video game characters. Rockstar not only created the perfect protagonist they found the perfect guy to play him and it's another example of Rockstar doing good for the world. Also Niko and Michael are my favourite GTA protagonists for similar reasons.

I think these videos do a great job of showing why so many of us are so critical of Rockstar's recent decisions. We know that they can and have made masterpiece after masterpiece but as I and everyone else knows there's not enough competition for them to be motivated to keep it up. I also liked what I imagine was a reference to the hive from the Resident Evil series at 23:04.

Been playing GTA IV again recently and man. I always love replaying this game every so often. It’s a game that has held up very well over the years. Many of Rockstars games have aged quite well, I just wish we had more games from them in the recent decade though.

Rockstar games have followed me entirety of my life , one of my first games that i played as a kid was gta 1 and fall in love with .. i played every rockstar game since, I even remember i would be absent from school to go in a video game store where they would have playstation 2 with san andreas you can play on and i just keep on playing it and its a bitter sweet feeling to today .. what they put out is still ahead of everyone elses but i am afraid that it ran the course , the departures of some of the most important members of Rockstar makes me question their future and success of GTA Online scares me that they will shift the focus on money and that quality wont follow ..

I promise you're not the only one who loved GTA 4's car physics. The way the car lurches to the side when you come swinging around a corner is so reminiscent of old 70s and 80s chase scenes to me, especially when you see the suspension jiggle around. Cars feel weighty and dangerous. I even prefer not being able to control my car in the air, unlike how you can somehow magically tilt your entire vehicle while airborne in GTA 5. One other thing is GTA 4's motorcycles feel tangibly different, and you can more easily be knocked off than in 5. In 5 it feels like your player character is glued to the seat and feels all stiff. And seeing your character launch out of the front windscreen is still one of my favorite things ever.

My first rockstar game was gta 3 and have been a fan ever since. Even with rockstars issues I still think they are probably unbeatable when it comes to attention to detail, physics, gameplay and also story. To this day not many devs at all can have all this in their game all at once without one suffering over the other. Even rockstars latest game rdr2 still shows that the devs still put so much detail and love into their games whenever they release something.

Yes their quality of games is incredible and unbeatable, but they destroy the games by adding useless and annoying things nobody ever wanted. Then they’re also very greedy, just look at the Sharkcard prices. In Germany you get 100.000 credits for 2,49€. All the new content is overpriced and especially as a new player it’s hard to get started. They have great games that they destroy by greediness.
