It's actually called "Fair and Lovely." People forget that India was one of the first places colonized by the British, and they really did a number on us. Indians weren't allowed to go to the same restaurants and clubs and stores as white people. One really common thing was signs that white folks used to put outside restaurants in India that said "no dogs and Indians allowed." Throughout history, the one problem that's remained relatively constant is white people thinking they're better than everyone else. People of color should stand together and fight this bullshit.

How can Black women love themselves when people like Blac Chyna are selling whitening creams, or when every elevated face a Black woman sees does not look like her??
@Larry_Suave6 жыл бұрын
That's retarded. White people don't, and never have loved other white people. Individuals vary from person to person an entire race uniting will never happen. And it shouldn't. You really think it would be a good idea for every race to gang up together and say fuck everybody else? What an idiotic idea.

Godfrey's right, Hollywood cinema shows lightweight shit when it comes to what happened to black people during slavery.
@drummy7476 жыл бұрын
I'm all for less slave movies and more movies about black people who did great stuff, from inventors and musicians, etc. Even a movie about the top 5 greatest rappers ever that haven't been done in film yet: 1. Dylan 2. Dylan 3. Dylan 4. Dylan 5. Dylan
@amalgamouspax94466 жыл бұрын
People will ask, "why Dylan?". We must tell them, "because he spot hot fiiyyaaah"

"slaves with super power" hmm.....Luke Cage finds a time machine and goes back and beats up everybody and leads a revolution? I'm down with that as long as Tarintino makes it. Because you know if he does then every time Luke Cage punches someone they will explode or something.

Vlad mentioned Schindler's list. As I remember that was the last major movie that focused on the tragedy of the holocaust and that came out in 1993. It seems like they trot out a slavery movie every 3-4 years. Lord Jamar and Godfrey were right and exact.
