PART 51 - 1952 Chevy 3100 - CAB FLOOR REPLACEMENT (PART 2)!

Hi Everyone! THE CAB FLOOR IS IN!!!!! In this video I am able to get the cab floor completely fabricated and welded into place! In next weeks video (Part 3), I tackle the kick / toe panel on the firewall. So far everything is coming out great!

That's just wondering if it's putting a flat piece of steel cross for the floor how do you get around the house that's in the middle I couldn't see that on the video this is Paul love you she'll help me out on my truck a lot but I'm at the floor and I got that hump it's in the way and I don't know how to go around that so if you can help me I appreciate it Paul

Did you use any special blade in the jig saw for cutting that sheet steel? I have been using a cutting wheel with angle grinder to avoid buying sheers or a nibbler, but never thought to use a jig saw. Great idea!

Hi Raymond, just a mild steel blade on the jig saw... but honestly, with thinner metals the jigsaw isn't that great (when I built the side panels out of 18gauge steel. However, for thicker stuff, the jigsaw will rip right through it with the right blade.
