This is why I can say that C&C Equipment is top notch. Other equipment dealers may have rolled the dice and let it go out and hope it held together for a few hundred hours and let the customer get stuck with an engine repair bill. I guess the lesson I learned is just replace all the components on the first time. It would have saved all the extra labor time and costs in new bolts and gaskets. C&C Equipment is a wonderful business. Clint and Kevin are true professionals

This is the reason that I have watched your videos more and have almost quit watching everyone else's. Someone said it right. Integrity means more than profit. Every one of you learn a valuable lesson in every mistake you make. Knowing how to find and fix your mistakes sets you above everyone else in your line of work. I found that in rebuilding engines that you have to remember where you left off if you have to stop. And there are certain times you have to not let distractions throw you off course. If they ever have an awards show for engine re-builders, and or construction equipment refurbishers I would like to nominate "C&C Equipment Company" with the highest honors. What you loose in time doing "exploratory surgery" on yourself, you gain in valuable knowledge. Look how long it took you to tear it back down. That's called wisdom. Congratulations, quality is job one !!!!!

2/10/23; ..correction of minor mistake/omission (not measuring north/south dimensions of conn'g rod [but measuring East/west]) was oversight...many distractions as you oversee/supervise 10 other activities. Very slight 'tic' heard when running, among numerous other diesel engine noises, was impressive! Then your professionalism is such that you admitted it on camera & repeated the efforts to pull engine out, tear down to re-measure all connecting rods...again...finding the (slightest) unacceptable, out-of-spec measurement resulting in all new components. Then reassembly, new oil & fuel line bleed/injector check...= quick start & 'no-tic' normal running sounds, temperature & successful test run! Wow! Great educational video for importance of 'nerdy' details & integrity, honesty & honest hard work! Congratulations Clint! Another fine job! Whoever buys this machine has confidence it's been fixed to perfection! 👍👍👍👏👏👏🛠🔧🍺😊

I learned about chains when I rented a dumpster once. I filled that thing to the top with not a single void. Heavy stuff too. This company didn't use roll-off dumpsters. They swung them off the truck with a crane. When the guy came to pick it up, I was shocked because he was going to lift it with a skinny little chain like you were using. I told him I didn't think that was a good idea, because it was REALLY heavy. He gave me the look you probably give the comments about undersized chains. "Don't worry about it" he said, and hoisted it up and away no problem.
