What great videos and explained so well. I just bought a 1960 triumph thunderbird 6t, and when I start it,it can kick back hard. It does have electronic ignition, so your video was helpful, thanks. I will be watching more now I have found you.

Absolutely top-notch set of videos At 6:48 you use copper slip on the kickstart shaft. My understanding from way back to include bicycles is you do not lubricate Square tapers or a flat taper such as used to attach the kickstart cotter.

Great video. As a 35+ year HD mechanic, I found this to be very well laid out.1941 to 1984 big twin clutches were very similar. The primary chain adjuster is similar to the 1985 and newer Sportster. Adjustments are done the same way. People have a tendency to adjust them incorrectly.

Ou tell me how to adjust the primary chain on a 67 tiger, do you tighten the adjuster to get slack out. I know to remove plugs, and inspection plug on top of primary cover. Ill look for a loose or a tight spot by turning motor over a few times. But do i turn adjuster in to tighten it or back off. And i should have 3/8 play. I here something rattling in there, at idle. I thought at first it was valves but sounds coming from primary. Great videeo series you made im sure everyone appreciates your talents. Thank you from New York

@@TheClassicMotorcycleChannel I started my biking life on BSAs many moons ago, and have ridden ever since. Being retired now, I would like to see out my biking "career" with a Beesa. Hence me scouring the net for everything BSA. That's where I, quite by chance, found CMC and instantly Subbed. Love the Channel and your enthusiasm for the classics. PS. Looking for an A65 T or L, +pref the US version), or even a B25 Starfire in running order! Greets Steve.

Bit surprised to see you fitted a Li battery. Not sure the a65 would benefit but then its probably less sensitive to their downsides as well.

What final gearing do you ride with, is it a stock ratio? I have changed riding habits over years. Now I go for a taller gear ride up to speed having lower cruise rpm and love it. I almost think the motor and gear box does too!
