My friends thought it would be hilarious to take me a bathhouse several years ago for Pride because I had never been before. They promised me we would just swim and they would stay with me but as soon as we walked out of the locker room they bolted...lol. I ended up sitting in the hot tub getting hit on by the strangest people. Needless to say the bathhouse was not the sexiest experience but it was a hilarious experience. Everyone should go once. xo

i'm Bi and bathouses were where i was first able to "explore" So heres what I know. 1.) Its hit or miss. Some nights its beautiful dick heaven, some nights are damn depressing, and some nights are just weird. 2)Best times to go are A. weekends(thurs, fri, sat), B. before major holidays or holiday weekends, or C. when theres a large convention, festival, competition, or any event that brings in lots of out of towners (especially international events). Davey, I hope it was the right night.

For people who live in cold climates, bathhouses can be very appealing. I remember standing at a bus stop at 11:00 pm having just gotten off work. It was in the middle of January and where I lived instead of snow we got this freezing scotch mist and fog that seemed to seep into one's bones. All I could think about was slipping into an nice hot tub in one of the bathhouses in town. The fact that there were hot men in the tub, also, added to the fantasy. Of course, that was before AIDS, etc. . .

This is why the media have such negative stigma on gay men because of this type of behavior. Also why do they have to be shirtless to talk about this.
