Reid Racing Jeep Heavy Duty JK Dana 30 - Rubicon 44 Knuckles:
=====================================================
reidracing.biz...
Product Description:
The new Jeep Wrangler JK Dana 30/Rubicon 44 knuckles are heavy duty stock replacement knuckles. Raised steering linkage, dual steering stops, and increased strength are the primary improvements while installation is simplified by allowing the OEM “outers” to be reused.
Sold individually
JK001L (left, driver’s side)
JK001R (right, passenger’s side)
Uses stock 2007+ Jeep Wrangler JK brake rotors, calipers, stub shafts and U-joints.
Fits JK Dana 30, JK Rubicon Dana 44, and Mopar & aftermarket JK axles.
Easy bolt-on installation with no machining required.
Aftermarket high strength axle shafts, U-joints/CV joints, and stub shafts can be used.
Antilock Brakes, Traction Control, and Electronic Stability Control systems remain fully operational.
Steering linkage is raised as high as possible while retaining clearance for OEM Jeep and most aftermarket wheels.
Tie Rod gains 1.5 inches of clearance to minimize vulnerability to trail damage.
Drag Link is flipped and gains 3 inches of height to perfectly correct the steering geometry for the common 3-4 inch suspension lift; minimizes additional steering correction for taller suspension lifts. Requires an aftermarket drag link, and we recommend a track bar bracket to eliminate bump steer. Works with any standard JK drag link flip kit.
Cast from high strength ductile iron.
Beefed up with extra material and ribbing.
Cast-in DUAL steering stops eliminate bent stop bolts that can cause u-joint and axle failures.
Tapered tie rod holes fit OEM-size tie rod ends; “1-ton” tie rod ends used in some aftermarket steering linkage may require very minor modification - call for details.
Tie rod holes can be drilled to accept 3/4″ heim ends.
Powder coated bright orange for long lasting looks.
Download instructions here.
Dealer inquiries welcome. Knuckles for off road use only.
There is no warranty on this product.

I love the upgrades but to be honest I would have stayed with the Steer Smarts Yeti components. I have already run all the mods you are doing this round and found that the drag link without the antiflop feature just added some play and wandering in my steering. So I added on the knuckle end of the drag link another anti flop boot which tightened the steering feel back up. But that ended up being short lived because when flexing it just split it and spit it out. Sometimes you have to ask yourself how HD do you truly need. You will never break the Yeti components and will be taking a step back in straight line stability as those joints break in and loosen up. The antiflop feature that Steer Smarts built into their tie rod ends is superior than a boot that limits movement. BTW.. I run no Steering Stabilizer. Haven't since I built my aftermarket axles to handle the 37s. Not once have I had experianced anything that even resembled death wobble in 25,000 miles.

I think I will be adding the Yeti again to my Recon. IT will be overkill for my current 285's, but I had it on my 2 door Willy's with 315's and it was by far the best mod I have ever done to any Jeep.

You could mount the stabilizer to the lower track bar bracket hole. There's a lot of options for doing just that.

If you don’t wanna do the ram assist yet. You can always. Just get the falcon steering stabilizer. It use the Track bar mounting hole so you can cut off mounting brackets for the stock one

Funny you talk about marine grade anti seize. When I got my door hinges redone because of the pitting, 2 different metals reacting right. The body shop said they put a marine grade non metallic something between the door panel and the hinge at reassembly to stop that reaction going forward. That was 3 yrs ago and still no pitting!

Why did you end up choosing the TMR system? I see that other companies offer the 2.5 ton aluminum systems that look identical to the TMR one, and they are less expensive. Is there something I am not seeing?

For that price tag it should come with the steering stabilizer relocation kit. That is one exspensive kit. RPM fab, Doetchs off road, Metal cloak and RK are way cheaper. When will you have a follow up video as to how it faired out on trail abuse.

For the tie rod, did you place the sticker on yourself or did it arrive already on? I plan to get it powder coated as soon as I order one.
