We upgrade to RPM 2.5 Ton Aluminum steering for the Jeep JL. And initial opinion is,,, WOW super tight and happy with the decision to buy new steering. There were numerous things about the previous system we foresaw as problematic so decided to jump in front of it before it got to that point.

on that seized TRE it should have been VERY HARD hits with the hammer on the face of the knuckle to knock that out. i've had to take full on swings before with a 5 pound hammer to break stuff free on other vehicles.

If you give the knuckle a couple hits next to the ball joint will knock it loose and save your threads, also measuring your old TR/DL length is more accurate when installed

So the half on the axle... is the synergy track bar relocation bolt. On the massive Tie rod... we used the rpm clamp bracket.

It’s holding strong…. The only thing I’m not liking about this setup… they don’t coat the TRE bolts… this leads to rusting. Steersmarts on the other hand DO. This protects them in the long run…

@@JLLIFEOFFROAD I have stearsmaets but they have had issues and there customer service sucks. In fact a bolt broke on my drag link on a trail. That was a nightmare. Thank goodness I was with good friends. It will be on trail militia soon. . I just ordered what you have.
