With the toy soldiers thing, most professional-grade miniatures like Games Workshop's metal minis at least from the 90's onwards were Pewter which is mostly tin (until they did the dick move of swapping to Finecast for those minis which was a terrible resin that was likely toxic in a whole different way, while also brittle so minis broke all the time) and the lead stuff was usually people making them at home themselves because lead has a melting point around 330C which is pretty easily achievable (though pewter's is lower so easier and safer, but you have to go around buying up cheap pewter decorations at thrift stores them melting them down, unless you get a smelting furnace setup then you can use whatever metal you like)

Did she _say_ her chemotherapy port was the bane of her existence? Because I *_love_* mine. You get hooked up to the machine like magic, instead of having some nurse poke around your hands and/or elbow-pits looking for veins. You'd think they'd find the veins first, then poke, but they went to medical school, or something, so they know better. Also, chemotherapy's not that bad at all, it just makes everything you consume for the next week taste like it's soaked in Country Time. Between that and cancer, I'll take the Country Time. Although... I guess his wife got both... not everyone is so lucky. My point still stands. Having a port is infinitely better than not having a port.

Most guns use lead styphnate as a primer so handling and part of the firearm that has powder residue will expose you to lead.

Full metal jacket bullets only have the tip and sides plated, the rear of the bullet is exposed lead and leaves residue all down the barrel. Primers also scatter lead in the chamber when detonated. Wash your hands with anti-lead soap after you shoot or clean a gun.

We didn't do a Spanish colonialism and he would like us to do a Spanish colonialism. To be fair, every government activity is funded by other economic activity. Assuming it were done ethically, it would not be a problem if the countries themselves funded X or Y with mining.

41:44 ok that thats is ..mmm i dont like that ... based on the way you disturbed id want to see their methodology because .. yeah if you take blood from someone who regularly shoots guns of course they are going to have higher lead levels every time to fire a rounds a small amount of lead is gonna get vaporized and your gonna breath some of that but is that correlative or causative i'd be really interested in that study's methodology
