I gotta disagree with the multi party system boils down to a two part anyways assessment. That is honestly naive and reductive. Sure by voting day there are usually only 2 or 3 candidates with a lick of hope to make it. But they are not always from the same two parties every election and in every lvel (nation, state and city). And also, the extra overall viable parties doing their things far far before official election campaign time and during the first half of it or so make a huge difference. You would not want a two party system Brazil like the US has, with two falvors of right wing parties. Because as I said in my previous comment and this episode's description of Jair suggests, Brazilian right wings are absolutely disgusting. If it is unfair and bad now, with a two party system it would be Hell. So no, I don't think a multiparty system is The solution, but it is a substantially less bad option than a two party system.
