Dad is clearly laughing in disbelief of the allegations against him, NOT at the mental health crisis. ***edit*** I don’t think the laughing is appropriate in a court setting but if he was laughing at her mental health problems he would have been laughing the whole time rather than ONLY when he or Ms Duzant were brought up.

I will say that the medicine that the previous foster mom spoke about called Geodon, That drug can definitely cause a Mental Breakdown, as well as Hallucinations. Also she kept saying mom was speaking really fast, that sounds to me (I am actually diagnosed with Bi-Polar) IMO that she was Manic. I'm going back to watch somemore, I just didn't want to forget to tell you that❤

I have bipolar 1 disorder and yes it sounds manic at first but if you keep listening there is a level of paranoia that I personally have never experienced. Idk if this is drug induced or what but there is something more going on here unfortunately.

Geodon is an antipsychotic and not likely to cause mental breakdown. It can cause drowsiness and CNS depression, but not cause a mental breakdown. I have used the medication since it came on the market, as a nurse in both in the ER and in psych. Posting things like this could mislead people and stop people from taking it who really need the medication.

It’s easy to see why Ms Wilcox is no longer with the agency. She should have been recording convos or writing everything down every time mom called if she can’t remember anything.

I'm 20 mins into this video-- all I keep thinking is-- does anyone expect to have this level of contact/drama with the mother when they become foster parents? I'm imagining the sheer terror for the children Ms. Chapman was going through while texting with Ms. Pope in the middle of the night. Ugh. What a mess for the girls! Perhaps Ms Pope and Ms. Taylor from TX have started their own trucking company??? They both say unbelievable things to CPS and clearly can't be mothers to their children. Two peas in the mental health/druggie pod.

I was never a foster parent but I was formerly a CASA, and no matter how much training you get, nothing prepares you for the sheer awfulness and dysfunction of some of the “parents.”

I can not figure out for the life of me how old these kids are , in the last hearing they talked about blocking mom social media from the kids but then talked about play therapy and daycare? I’m so confused.

Yeah, I haven't finished watching but I find it disturbing the way he keeps laughing when the foster mom was speaking. Nothing she said was funny at all. I hope the judge takes notice of his behavior as being inappropriate. I know some other judges do take inference from the parents behavior during the proceedings.

Mr. Pope needs to control himself. Mental illness and the resulting unstable actions are not reasons to laugh. Makes me question his fitness as a parent to a child that may have their own struggles with mental health.

Seriously? It doesn’t matter what his reasons are. You can’t do that and expect to be taken seriously. Especially when the child in question is having their own mental health issues. I’m sure he may not have meant it that way, but appearances are everything when it comes to child custody.

Laughing in disbelief while I don’t think appropriate in a court setting has nothing to do with his fitness to parent nor does it mean he won’t and has not taken either children’s mental health seriously. @ 17.21- I was going to say the same thing @ On Tropolis- the fact that the mother is mentally ill does not mean her claims of DV should be laughed out!! AND, how disrespectful to the parents who are watching everything!! It is SAD not funny AT ALL!!
