23:35 great question and kind of, yes. The problem in Ireland was the same problem as all these corporations you're talking about: property. The problem is people owning stuff exclusively, stuff being everything from the land and resources to the machines and everything that is produced by them. Property is created and defended by force, and it leads to poverty, colonialism and famine.

About Clive remitting his money through the EIC, the Knights Templar had a similar system during the time they existed. You could deposit money in for example their London office and reclaim it from any of their other offices around Europe / the middle east.

Technically, the payments Clive got from Bengal was justified as debt repayment, which Mir Jafar and the Jagat Seths initially accepted, but Clive went so far, Jafar protested and was replaced, but even the replacement turned on him. Unfortunately, said replacement lost a huge battle to the EIC...
