It's almost a crime at what time does to someone. This guy was mega cool when the Spoonful were in their prime. He was so serious looking in contrast to guitarist Zal, who was always clowning around on stage.

John was an avid smoker all his life. and that took care of his voice.

John lost his voice after he got throat surgery that went wrong in 1986.

kary mitchell He should join their club of America they can set them up the man in the vanilla fudge that play the organ he was bald and he went to the hair club of America and they replaced all of his hair and if you see video clips on KZbin of him in the 1980s and 90s his hair looks really really good

@@michaelrochester48 my preference. The bald in the middle and hair on the side looks ridiculous to me. I would never let my husband look like that. No way. It makes no sense. Some all bald men are very handsome.
