Well spotted Ali. At least it wasn't the infamous killer dowel pin in the old ones that used to work it's way out and get chewed up in the timing gears. I was never a fan of Cummins engines in diggers.

that dowel only comes up if the injector pump or compressor bracket is left off letting the t case flex

Cheers Ali. Interesting on the EPOS fault. The Cummins do tend to run a bit pressurised as long as no symptoms exist. All the best for now.

Good find on that Cummings engine. I'm with you, not a fan of them engines or Kohler.

I’m a lover of Cummins but had to work on a lot of them from HGV and plant, I find if looked after they are virtually bullet proof, not quite sure how yanks keep smashing pistons etc on them

I’ve never had a good experience with them in Doosan products they don’t seem to like keeping oil in them

Doosan / Develon machines are made in South Korea for a time they were assembled in Belgium but the Belgian built machines generally gave more trouble weather that was because there was a higher population of those machines in the country I’m not sure

I did one when I was an apprentice on an old solar 140 managed to avoid the job since 😂

The older mechanical cummins 5.9 were great engines,,But when they went to common rail they weren't as good,,

DX140-7 is it possible to alter the feel of the joy sticks in the cab. I find them to light could do feeling more heavier for example more resistance when moving them. Is there a setting in the computer ? Strange question but thought I'd ask. Thanks
