And Tip two: Buy some buses and build city bus line with end station. Peoples will be happy because everyone finds a way to their needs. 🙂🙃🙂

The fluctuation of pollution might be caused by a lack of garbage disposal capacities. If a building frequented by only a handfull of workers has overflowing garbage containers, like e.g. a sports court, the pollution effects are minimal, whereas overflowing garbage containers in a big residential block might affect hundreds of individuals. Therefore it might be worthwile to check, whether your inidiviual buildings have overflowing garbage, the republic has sufficient garbage dumps and lastly, if these dumps are empied regularly. Edit: While i'm at it, some pieces of unsolicited advice: 1) Dumper capacy isn't everything. While the BZ 252 has by far the greatest capacity, it is painfully slow. It's maximum speed is somewhere around 35km/h (21mph) which leads to them not even benefitting from gravel roads. Consider using at least some faster dumpers to prevent the BZ 252 from slowing down your construction by e.g. having to drive all the way to Al Balutakia for some asphalt. 2) Your construction and demolition offices have a range of operation which is currently set to 1000m which might soon be insufficient to facilitate the growth of mighty Ashkehkal. 3) Should a vehicle get stuck due to some kind of weird game interaction, you can instately reset it to it's workplace with Ctrl+H. This does not work for vehicles without a workplace, like vehicles assigned to lines or vehicles whose workplaces collapsed due to fire or disrepair. 4) Vehicles which have a fixed workplace which is not in direct proximity to the vehicle repair station will not visit the repair station by themselves, even if they are in range of it. The range setting is relevant for how far the vehicle repair station will sent their own vehicle to repair damaged vehicles in other workplaces. Maybe consider buying a small covered B1000 in your repiar station to enable it repairing ambulances, police cars, etc. and spare yourself the busywork of manually moving damaged vehicles to the repair station. A small covered hull will suffice, as cars and trucks do not need massive amounts of ressources for their mainenance as trains or ships will. 5) While i am not sure why your crime rate is that high, some usual suspects are insufficient workers at the police station, too great a backlog of minor crimes for those poor, overworked sods at the station, no way to actually punish severe crimes or abandoned orphans needing to find a way to survive in mighty Ashkhekal.
@Den-dd5pp4 ай бұрын
For the crime thing: as you looked at the police station, i noticed there were only like 1-3 policepeople in employment at the time. The number of police people will deterine how quickly a case gets solved, as you likely know. More cop Cars will only worsen the situation, as there will be more cases for your few Policepeople to solve. making sure there are enough employees or building a second station would help much more!

Party, I'm not sure on this as the happiness numbers are kind of vague. But it often seems to me that the happiness concerns are pretty small percentages or affecting a small portion of the population. They may definitely help tell you where problems are but usually add up to 3-5% total. My guess is your happiness score is much more fixed to housing quality, you've basically been pegged to just below 65% ever since a large portion of the population moved into the large flat buildings with a quality of 65% IIRC. Which would also explain why when things go wrong or get back on track the happiness only moves a percent or two. Keep in mind for walking distances that double main road is basically a wall unless there are paths to get citizens across to the other road. This could make walking distances significantly longer. Also, staffing is definitely a constant struggle for your city layout. Adding a second clinic on top of the new hospital might well crater your healthcare instead of fixing it because you couldn't possibly staff that at this stage.

@adrikstepanov53074 ай бұрын
@@stewarthilson Yes, the asphalt and street lamps do make vehicle move faster, and they extent the range the people walk, but you need to actually use the footpaths. Asphalt roads are for vehicles, and it's not how people move around (unless you have personal cars, and having those is expensive). People get around mostly on foot, on footpaths, and he is ignoring those. Having them walk on side of the road as vehicles actually slows them down if they need to walk around buildings, not across.

It looks like vehichles traveing on dirt roads are experiencing way more durability drop-off than those on gravel/asphalt roads, so i suggest setting up two lines of gravel roads with separation on speed limit. One for faster trucks and cars, and another for 25t dumpers. You can use speed limit sings like you did before. Just a theory though, but gravel is cheap and fast to build. I prefer to have prefab roads for industrial areas in mid/lategame - fast enough for most of the trucks and looks nice. But man do those long convoys of trucks on dirt roads looks nice - straight from madmax movies!

Proptly ignores the overflowing sewage tanks despite being reminded several times. Build the sewers? Nah, we don't need concrete pannels! Housing issue? Prevents construction of flats. No money? The repair workshop needs vehicles to do maintenance outside their zone and they also need the materials INSIDE the workshop or connected storage. The vehicles from the workshop will not go to other storages to collect materials. Just get a couple of small closed hulls and stock your workshop and you are good to go. Distribution centres are your friend yet you dont utilize them. You seem to be struggling with water, sewage and everything else yet you pumped over 200 episodes of the game prior.

This is not America. You needn't build asphalt roads with lights everywhere, only on main road. This is a poor socialist country. And in this game, much is based on walking and footpath and public transport. People actually walk to everything they need or to the next bus station. This is how they get around. So if people are not willing to walk somewhere, just build another busstation.

@@adrikstepanov5307 He doesn't need a road on the left side of his new buildings. Instead he could build a bridge between the new places to live and the industrial part if you want to invest in a beautiful road project that takes some time. He needs a good road connecton between these two parts of the city. By the way: a socialist country is run like a private company - the whole country is a company. I guess he played Cities-Skyline before. Reading other comments: maybe do some research about Sowiet Union or China before continuing. By the way: how can you ruin a country? Build huge single family homes for everyones, buy overcised cars for everyone and build huge asphalt roads to connect all this. People may like to live like this, but this is not efficient to run a country. And in the end you don't have ressources to run basic infrastructure. If you think about the next big step after adapting the road desing: build a chemical factory or a oil refinery in the north of your town where you have so much flat space. The oil you have is the only you have and are using, so try to make as much money as possible from that. One km away from the part where people live should be enough to avoid polution. Your getting too focused on updating roads and minor improvements which is causing you to get bogged down on projects and your not actually getting anything done because your more worried about resolving issues which ... Build a pipeline from the sewage collection area to the disposal area even at low priority would mean that your constantly moving things, and sewage would resolve itself, and means you don't need the sewage trucks anymore. Sort out the garbage issues, that's what's causing you grief, just sending it to the dumping area which is relatively full is killing your productivity. Build more houses and build new industries (cement plant as your already producing gravel and importing coal, and the coal power plant) to reduce the amount of people without work, which should reduce the crime rate and build larger shopping centers, so you can support a larger population.
