Okay! Hopefully I can get the fun facts on the Gray Wolf up this time without my laptop keeling over. So here's some neat facts about my personal favorite animals! - The 'Timber' wolves in game are actually Gray Wolves. The term "Timber wolf" can actually refer to most species of wolves that live in forest regions. - Wolves are able to communicate through a number of reasons. Howling is their most known form which can be used to communicate with pack members from a distance, warn off unfamiliar wolves or other packs away from their territory, or just because one of decided it was fine time to howl. Kinda like my crazy dog who likes the bark when he hears the neighbors dog... even though he has no idea what he's barking at. - Wolves used to be among the worlds most wildly distributed mammals. However, their range has been greatly reduced over the years due to livestock and fear. - Wolves form very strong social bonds and mated pairs have been known to mate for life. All members of the pack chip in in taking care of the dominate pairs offspring. - A gray wolf can consume around 20 - 30 pounds of meat in one meal! They have been known to go up to 14 days with no food and no ill effects. - Wolf attacks on people are VERY FEW and it has been shown that strong presence of their natural prey greatly reduce the percent of livestock attacks. Love my wolves.

I saw a lot of people saying to put the animals into the trade center to refresh their needs... I honestly think it might be worth it before you unpause the zoo. Edit: you should really do more mechanical research too... not just south America. And for the panda game was it supposed to be giant? Or great? I think giant makes more sense
@msweirdo4ever4 жыл бұрын
Lizzie C I saw that too but I’m pretty sure the game itself says in the loading screen texts that the needs get taken care of in quarantine, not the trade center. I must admit that I’ve never tried putting animals in the trade center to fix their needs so I can’t say if it works or not, but the quarantine at least 100% works!

Might be worth putting down some dining tables in the palace area for guests to get more rest. To encourage foot traffic, could you make a loop from the Palace towards the gazeebo bathroom; taking the path through (or around) The Great/Red Pandamonium games sign so guests can kinda walk through the battle zone? Pangolin bathroom name (If you choose to use it; I know you don't usually name them but couldn't resist offering): have the habitat along that back wall leading to the Zen Gazebo bathrooms and call them the "Pholi-go-ta" (their mammalian order is Pholidota) :D

@Cherrykitchen4 жыл бұрын
When you trade out your animals, you need to pay attention to their age when setting the price, even if the animal can still technically breed and has excellent genes, an older animal has less time to have offspring. If the drinking issue hasn't been patched by next episode, you could start just marking out the next enclosure. Use terrain paint or in game decorative fencing, just mark out the next few areas, plan where staff and guest facilities can go (not forgetting power and water treatment) so you can deal with guest negative impact before habitats and paths are set in stone. Also benches, benches, and more benches. You should click on guests, and anywhere a guest says they wish they could have stayed longer to see __________ animal, you should install a bench. I like how you light up dozens of trees, but lots of pitch dark paths for guests. Also, those east Asian lanterns would look amazing hanging in some trees. I think one of the new South American paths might work for the path around the Komodo dragons. I know you made a custom one to make it look like a wooden slat bridge, but I think one of the new paths has the look you were going for.

To have the red panda statue beside the word "Great" that is crossed is really smart. In the beginning it was nice to see you financially struggle and almost loose your zoo to loans. It helped me realize that this game can be kind of hard and im not alone. Seeing you financially struggle, and then come out of it making good money gave me a better appreciation for the hard work that has been put into the zoo. I think the pangolins in the small corner a bit south makes sense, and then the shops and macaques can be on the opposite side of the creek from them and the red pandas. Because they can have quite a high population, a somewhat larger habitat for macaques isn't unreasonable. You don't have to be quite so conventional on the lighting. It's fine to be more experimental and you use the basic blue and orange a whole lot of places at this point.

I totally understand losing the animals, even though they are pixels. I play Sims and feel sad when someone I've been playing with and spending time on dies. If the pixels are cute enough and we've spent enough time with them they mean something, especially when they are realistic (like these). I enjoy beauty passes and taking time to clear out the trade centre. They are two essential things I think. The beauty pass adds realism and trading is a big part of the game. Everything looks great. I love your creativity and Elite Zoo North looks absolutely amazing. I did want to point out something that I think may have caused you a huge headache. Although this is extremely late and quite a few episodes ago. Your water troubles over in the croc areas might have actually been caused by heaters you placed underneath the paths. Once you added these is when you started having the water issues. I also did not see you move these around during your troubleshooting. I know the issue with the water is still eating at you since you never really figured it out. Maybe try looking at the heaters under the path off camera. I believe these would obstruct the water as well.

Hi, I really enjoyed this episode. I understand and respect that you don't want to put animals into trade center because you think that it's cheating, but maybe you should consider saving Shreya by putting her into a guarantine. She is pregnant and is severe dehydrated, it would be very sad if she died. Besides, quarantine is a place where your staff can take care of the animal, I don't think placing it there is something wrong. Also your keeper still must take it there so animal can die if the keeper won't make it. It's a risk but I think it's worth a try. Good luck.

I really enjoyed this episode!! It's been a long time since the last merchant feel😃 i got the feeling we was sitting down discussing our zoos finances. Can we please get a tiger king tribute!🐅 Possible loops; bear enclosure: underground stairs to the nearest pathway. The new loop may bring more people to the cave. Gazebo starting from above near the pipshop water, and end up by China. Creating a loop to draw people up above the new bear and to the pandas. Really liked all the animal trading. You are the elite zoo tiger king 👑😂

I think doing a walking tour while paused would be nice that way your not constantly getting updates when your doing that.

Couldn't work my way through patreon, decided to join you on YT instead :D I actually like the slower, management episodes :) Not every one has to be with adding the new animal, other ones are just as much fun :) In Poland we have Easter Monday off only, no free time on Friday. So it's a little bit longer weekend, not really long holiday. And actually first one I won't be travelling to see my family (for obvious reasons). Anyway me and my best friend are going to have wonderful time I hope :) Happy Easter, Party!

I def don't mind keeping it paused until the issue has been fixed especially if unpausing means animals dying! But it's even if it's paused it's still a great episode and I'm a big fan of the lighting in this game so I'm not complaining by the way what's the song you been using for the last couple of timelapses? it really stood out to me today for some reason I really like it

You should stream your gameplay. Especially now that many of us are at home.

Hard to stream unfortunately cuz the lady of the home is also home - but working. Lots of meetings and all during which I can't record (or stream)
